The clock keeps on resetting usually after we cook on the stove top...im assuming heat caused the clock/temperature control to break? It works sometimes but will eventually reset. Do you think its just the electronic motherboard?

Hi good afternoon. The clock of my fggf3036tfe Frigidaire gets out of time. Not the cooking timer, the clock itself (about 5 minutes back per half an hour). Do you have an idea of what could be the problem?

I’m getting an error message on my stove which is a Frigidaire. I’m getting the code f31. That means a shorted oven temperature sensor probe or a shorted sensor circuit (according to what I found online). This repair guy says it’s almost never the sensor. He wants to replace the panel and wants to charge me a total of $280 for parts and labor? Is he lying and trying to overcharge me?? Also, he said he reset the panel. So now the oven is working. But he claimed after 2 or 3 uses, it won’t. He said he’d throw in a. New sensor but he insists it’s the whole panel that needs to be changed. I’d really appreciate some feedback and advice so I can decide if I pay or not. And this problem happened right after I used easy off to clean the oven. Was that just because I sprayed the sensor and now it’s ok?Thanks in advance for any help.
