From 2D to 3D - Getting Started in 3DS Max 2021 (part 5)

We are creating 3d geometry out of 2D lines either imported or created in Max. Lines will be made visible by turning them renderable, by adding a "Renderable Spline" modifier or a "sweep" modifier. Closed polylines can be extruded or beveled. We are closing the tutorial with an example in which we recreate the 20th Century Fox logo

The difference between the "2" and the "0" is not an error, it is wanted to make the letters appear as same size. "In fast jeder gut entwickelten Schrift gehen die Rundungen über die Grundlinien hinaus um die Buchstaben einer Schrift gleich erscheinen zu lassen."

When i do render it shows " this material is not supported....."

Not every Material works for every Renderengine. That happens a lot when you import Geometry from Internet collections.
