The most heartbreaking thing about all of this clean is what Mac said about the husbands mental state. He'll go straight back to filling the house up again and then some just to replace the things removed. That and to get back at his wife for allowing the clean up. All three of you worked amazingly hard and you should be very very proud of all that you accomplished. I bet the lady absolutely cried when she saw her sunroom the first time afterwards. Well done!

I’m the wife and yes, I truly DID cry when I sat in the sunroom with a cuppa tea for the first time in YEARS!! This morning I finally felt well enough to make some scrambled eggs and pancakes for me and my Boys so we could enjoy breakfast as the rest of the world went driving by! Found a really cute black squirrel living in the tree next to the sunroom as well, which is cool! We named him Buddha Buddy. I plan getting him some peanuts, but luckily the team already unearthed a mountain of dried corn cobs that he can munch on until then!! I’m so thrillled that I have actually had a hard time watching the whole video. And the kids are absolutely traumatized at the moment. We attended our first therapy sessions on Thursday, and my husband is supposed to be attending virtual therapy every Tuesday. He’s out of the country right now, so I’m not exactly sure how that’s going….. But these 3 people are saints! I mean that!! Please share with everyone you know!!

@@sookarryadventures1898 I am so happy you got to enjoy your rediscovered peace and space. Your black squirrel sounds adorable. I've never seen a black one before we only have red and grey here in the UK. Going forwards I do think you need to set very defined boundaries with your husbands "collecting". Anything business/property related including all furniture and fixings should be stored in a separate storage building to the house. If you have room on your land maybe build him a unit to house it all. Anything he buys in future MUST be stored out there and not enter the house. It's going to take a lot of tears and frustration and some anger in your journey but getting him to truly understand his hoarding and what it does to your family is vital for permanent change. I wish you the very best of luck for an eventual happy outcome. 💜

I posted on MMC Page that I have a friend with that problem and he IS getting better, with therapy treatment for anxiety and depression, more therapy and doing everything they tell him to do. It has been a couple of years since he started the treatment and he is so much better, It is inspiring to see him, still a work in progress but progress is the key Word! 🙌🙏🌈❤️

I shall keep you all updated once he returns from abroad. My only interest at this point is taking my sons’ mental health into consideration, not to mention my own. We’ve had a lot to cope with for 7-8 years, and my kids are at that age where they NEED their own SPACE!! But none of us had that until last weekend, and while it’s been overwhelming to begin with, it’s also such a beautiful, freeing feeling. Sleeping in 3 separate beds instead of cramped into 1, In a 6 bedroom house!!!!

Hi lovey, just a little tip from a 69 year old house keeper 😊 About the glass stove top clean… if you use oven cleaner on the glass then cover it with Saran Wrap for 15-30 minutes it will wipe right off … Love your videos 👍😊❤️❤️❤️

Just watched the collaboration videos. You all have such different personalities and styles but the single drive to help others. To feel that positive energy all together in one space was fantastic!!! Barbie, you are an amazing little powerhouse. As a New Yorker, i appreciate what you try to do in NYC. Awesome job Barbie! How you ever managed is way beyond words. That homeowner must be very pleased! Been watching the Midwest Magic Clean Guy for awhile. Seen his collaboration with you on this job. You worked SO hard, Barbie! I hope you were able to go home and completely relax for a few days afterwards! What a difference! I hope they keep it tidy, or at least hire a cleaner to come in every week to keep it clean. They had so much STUFF. I often wonder if people who live in really impoverished countries are hoarders. Somehow I doubt it. It was great watching you three collaborate on this. Thank you so much!

I am astonished at the number of books. And all of the paintings. That is a beautiful home. I hope they keep the areas you all have worked so hard to clean and return to enjoying their home. Wow! Beautiful work!
