Great progress and it’s amazing some of the walls have stood as long as they have. Shows how well the technique of pinning the stones together works I guess. It’ll be better than new soon I’m sure 😀👍

A bit of info - beans are nitrogen fixers in the soil. They will build the soil so the tomatoes can utilize the nitrogen. However, when the beans are done producing- cut them off, but leave the roots in the ground - that’s where the beans store the nutrients , and those nutrients will become available to the next season’s vegetables

We have a glazed door behind the shutter, we are putting a window in because we have too many doors and it makes the space inside more usable

What wouldn't you give for a couple of cool Stockport days and a shady Patio overlooking the lawn and flowerbeds. Off down the Pub later for Sunday roast, large G &T and cool pint of bitter. Day to day torture seems silly, with a dusty old problem filled house at the end of it, if it ever ends.

I wouldn't give anything for 10 seconds in Stockport - we love it here and love what we do, restoring a precious old historic building in the most beautiful, tranquil setting, surrounded by nature with stunning scenery all around, enjoying year round warm sunny days!
