I have been to Ghana about 30 times last there in December 2023, I unofficially adopted 4 girls in the 1990’s when they were young and put them through school . The youngest graduated with a degree two years ago , I walked two of them down the aisle when they married in 2022 & 2023. A couple of friends and I are coming to Ghana in 2025 to buy land and make the move

@@tanyabarnes4899 I have to agree. I went to Ghana in November of 2023. The price of the flight was outrageous - not to mention the VISA process - compared to travel to Europe. For example: a flight to Paris, France can be as low as $399.00 round trip. A flight to England is about the same, especially when the airlines do summer specials. They make the flights to Europe cheap but they make that money back by making the flights to Africa very expensive. And the flights are infrequent - we had the hardest time getting a flight that matched our tour. There are flights going to Europe every day - but we had to get a flight that landed two days before our tour started. My flight to Ghana was over $1,000.00. No one is making excuses - if you are paying $2,000 or $3,000 a month in rent or mortgage - which is typical in the U.S.. Gas, electric, water, internet and just the basic Western living expenses it can take years to save enough money to travel to Africa. But a lot of people make the sacrifice - I did. I went with a black American travel tour group - but again - it was expensive. I would do it again and I intend to - I'll be going to South Africa at the end of December. My second time on the continent - I'm really looking forward to it.

@@patrickfrempong7504 Everywhere is a choice. "African" Americans always talking this ish about Africa acting like they have some connection when the reality "African" Americans are white people in black skin. Zero to do with Africa. They are FULLY assimilated and believe in EVERYTHING white and desire EVERYTHING white. They don't even know what fufu is or jollof most likely. They don't represent a single thing from Africa they represent white colonizers and they don't understand when they go to real Africa as "African" Americans they do the EXACT thing the colonizers, they stay crying about about, did to their ancestors. They have no idea who are what they represent because they are completely lost and have no intention of being anything "African". Shit African countries seem to be following African American culture now these days and they will soon be lost too. REAL Africans go everywhere in the world much like chinese. African Americans barely leave a state let alone a country.

It's all well and good for all these investors coming to Ghana to invest in housing, be it in mining, agriculture, retail and insurance, is the Ghana government checking on all these foreign investors to make sure guide lines are followed, like invaromental procedures, free water flow bodies are maintained, trees are planted in areas cleared for construction and safety for all in this areas. It shouldn't be free for all in the name of investments, we must keep our future generations in mind not to jeopardized their future as well. Ghana is blessed with beautiful vegetation and clean environment, we must continue to sustain it and pass it on for our future generations.

Great interview. Loved the shared info. Intelligent questions and magnificent answers. I didn't hear the location though. Please tell where the homes are located. There is much interest.

Dre's attitude towards the continent is so positive, it draws you in like a jar of honey😂 I live in Canada and many ppl in Africa might not be able to fully relate to what he mention. Let me put it more bluntly so more ppl understand. The concept of white supremacists is a collectivist Western attitude towards other civilizations. Also, it is a European/White obsession to focus on race. In contrast, look at the Ubuntu philosophy for example that focuses on your human-ness first and foremost. There are so many different philosophies of life like this in Africa.

Amazing interview as usual 🤎🤎🤎. So amazing!! Can't wait to visit Ghana. Hearing him talk about the black houses begs the question for me...What is the vetting process for those interested in purchasing? Will my neighbors look like me or does that matter?
