She felt in more pain due to the fact that Indian army pounded them hard in her own words … what do you expect if you attack another country !?? She said india viciously did air strikes … said brave young Pakistani soldiers … such was the bravery that they had to be buried by Indian army .. due respect to those who died but what about the cowards who did not accept the bodies ? Who flew to Delhi to negotiate basically surrender …

@@alinaqvi1864 Lady mixing some shit in b/w as well, India taking Siachin is very different from Pak's Kargil incursion. Siachin is on LOC and no was manning it permanently. Pakistan had plans to take it over permanently, INdia got wiff of pakistan's cold weather soldier unifrom procurement plans from European vendor and beat pakistan into their plans. Now Kargil is well within Indian side of LOC and hence India had every right to pound any one and it is not vicious, if pak had done that, then it would courageous answer? what a duplicity. Someone talking about nuclear option during peace time is very much different than some one talking about during a active conflict engagement. Lady is very hurt about pounding.

I went through her interview in BBC . There also in her entire interview she did not complete even a single sentence. After two words suddenly she would inject a deferent issue. From the start to end of the interview she never gave answer to a single question. She would start and in the middle she just divert the subject.. you canot make out what she wanted to tell and what she said. I heard she had taken 15 years to complete the book. It would be interesting to read the book .

@@User-wh5mk dude, glass can be viewed from both sides, pls be happly to see what you want. if you want to call stalemates call it , since pak started operation Grandslam and operation Girblator, did you get what you wanted by starting these operations? , if so it is win, if not it is loss, we were able to defend in 1965 by opening the front in rajastan. In 1948 we didnt get full Kashmir back ,but we recovered 2/3rd back. In 1999 you did go to america on july 4th on their national holiday for emergency to get their help to ask Americans to influence Indians to stop pounding.. Americans said no to you ordered to first fall back of LaC without any conditions. So you want a justification why goals were not acheived you can have any reasons you want. We learn from mistakes, 1948 was bad, for India we could have done more to get 100% back.. so 1962- Against China Was bad again. so 1965 -- we improved a lot in 3 years 1971 - improved by miles 1984-- Got siachin-- improved by a lot 1999 -- Intially intellgience failure , in the end was able to make miltary and diplomatic win. You started of well in 1965 in Kashmir, but didnt expect to India to open a front in Lahore.. (not a good finsher of the game) you started well in 1999 in Kashmir, but didnt expect INDIA bringing Bofors guns/Airforce pounding. and also had high/misplaced expectations of whole world coming to your defence, but world caught your nuclear bluff, you cant justfiy everything by saying you have atomic power. (again you are not a finisher of a game). Pounding By Indian army was so heavy that pak ran out of ammunitions, as supply chains were cutt(food was run out, PAK army was brave tho for asking for ammunition instead of food, reallistically your army couldnt have survived for long). Your ex millitary calls it as tactical brillaince but statergical blunder.(both. 1965/1999) India componseated inteeligence failure with good military and diplomatic actions. Understand India means business/money.. everyone loves business and money... Actually with Siachen, both countries made a move. She has conveniently missed out operation Ababeel. The Indians preemptively put up posts under operation Meghdoot. With respect to the Chinese war, we already have the MacMohan line of control. India didn’t need to nibble away beyond that. It is the Chinese who had an issue with the British legacy. Extraordinary interpretation of history by the lady in the podcast. Pakistani historians are truly amazing.

If the civilian government is not competent and strong institutional decision making, then Military or other vested interest can occupy the vacuum. It is important that elected civilian government is briefed by competent people on all important states matter and decision making strictly on the basis of the Institutional basis and not one individual. For example, cabinet committie on security. The book should be also part of International relation studies apart from defece studies. Great compilation and contribution to future generation by Nasim. Love from India to All the Pakistani's (except the Military generals and politicians) Military generals and politicians are of no good in Pakistan. Same goes for the politicians in India.

Most of the Pakistani books on Kargil are okay to read except the one by Shireen Mazari which is absolutely shitty. But none of the books are exceptional.

Pakistani troops at that time did not the support of air force to hit indian indian troops back .On the other hand, indian brought airforce to the gargil war.Had pak brought airforce into gargol, the situation may had different. So, there was asymmetry in the use of resources .

Whose fault was it then They couldn't get airforce there This is as delusional as the aims of the generals who started kargil

No.this is totally misperception and fabricated story on the part of Indians. Pak army sent its troops in the guise of freedom fighters. That is why air cover to Pakistani troops was not given. There was asymmetry of the use of military resources. Now, you indians watched the fierce response from PAF in the form of OPERATION SWIFT RETORT on 27 FEB, 2019 .The tea is fantastic.

You could not send your PAF because you were lying about invading Kargil. Bewakoofi karo fir bolo ki assymetry thi.

For Pakistani troops to get air cover PAF would have had to cross the LoC and that would have resulted in all-out war. Whereas IAF could be deployed as they would still fly on the Indian side of the LoC. They also had strict instructions not to cross the LoC at any time. Lastly, the PAF chief was not in the know of things. So, how could Pakistan have deployed their air force?
