My story is similar to yours, except I don't do bodybuilding but prefer calisthenics. It's exhilarating, isn't it? To feel good in ones own body. I sometimes want to go back to my 13 year old self and tell her that one day that slightly steep street she hates so much will be quite easy to walk. Or tell my 18 year old self that despite all the injuries to her knee she will not only be able to walk again, but to move better than ever before.

@@AlexMinor I am diabetic and after a lot of research, my weight loss to date and my increased fitness I have settled on a no processed food at all, no sugar, very low carb high fat high protein diet.. I like veg too much to cut them out and feel great with my eating habits now. 3.5 stone lost in a year, can run, blood sugar normal and bp in healthy range. I am sure carnivore is good for some but I don’t feel it’s for me

Please tell me more about the antiinflammatory diet. I need to hard copy it
@melissalamb253425 күн бұрын
This is a super spark notes simple run down. I cut added sugars, gluten, most forms of dairy and highly processed foods from my diet. I ate meats, vegetables, nuts/seeds, fruits, reduced fat cottage cheese, plain non-fat Greek yogurt, and some protein supplements. I still seasoned all my food well and cooked with butter, ghee, olive oil, coconut oil, or avocado oils. I even ate lots of bacon and eggs while dropping body fat and getting clean labwork results. The processed food is the biggest inflammation trigger.

Quick question: What's the trigger for the overeating? Why did food suddenly become such a problem? What happened?
@melissalamb253425 күн бұрын
Hi Sonja! A lot of high sugar foods and simple processed carbs trigger me to over eat. Chips, candy, cakes, fast food, etc… I found eating healthy fats helpful to reduce cravings! I stuck to healthier fruit and vegetable carbs low on the glycemic index. That’s made a huge difference! I ate a lot of junk food post competition in 2022 and spiraled for almost 2 years. My husband and I are in the process of re-establishing this lifestyle again.

I hate hate fish and can't have citrus! Any info will change my life!
@melissalamb25343 жыл бұрын
Garlic and chimichurri makes salmon taste so much better! The citrus does take the fishy taste out, but I felt like garlic did as well. The texture is also better than most fish I’ve tried. 😄 You can always supplement OMEGA and stick to chicken and turkey though. Egg lands best eggs have more OMEGAs in them as well. I just like getting plenty in my diet to help counteract inflammation from the auto immune stuff and from training. Staying away from processed oils will help too. I use olive oil, coconut oil, or avocado oil. ☺️

Just because a woman is muscular doesn’t mean she has a “ man’s body”. With this way of thinking then skinny men must have “ women’s bodies “. You are an idiot.
