I'm just so frustrated by how the characters don't communicate enough. The story from Victor was that his Mom thought if she rescued the children in the tower they could all go home. The possibility that the tower was simply the exit was there in that story. And the problem is they don't know how to get back into Fromville so if one person exits no one else in Fromville will know it was the way out. But they weren't even going through the possibilities before sending one person to the tower. And Jade meanwhile could find some new evil in the tunnels that everyone will have to deal with and didn't tell anyone where he was going beforehand. He won't have learned from Boyd's experiences because the lessons aren't being shared.

Tabitha having victors lunch box and taking it to the real world isn’t a mistake. She’ll definitely meet someone that knows that box, maybe his sister. And the boy in white is helping by sending her to the real world. So she can put the pieces together over there and then make a return. The boy in white said ‘this is the only way’

That ending gave me chills, it had me jumping out of my seat. I had a flashback to LOST, season 3 finale (Through the looking glass). The words "We have to go back" screamed in my mind. This season was nothing short of excellent. My only frustration is the wait for season 3 with the writers and looming actors striking. Which may delay season 3 going into production.

Considering the trees...I think the predecessors of the From residents put those bottles on that specific tree cause they were aware that the trees kept moving, so to keep track of it they use the bottles whistling in the wind to find it.

This will explain how Tabitha’s bracelets ended up in the past on victors moms wrist, and how she found it in the storage room. Tabitha is going to get back to the town in a different time. Another thing is, did she just get hurt from the fall? Or was Boyd’s wife rite and dying is an escape? Na, I think if you get hurt but survive, or go into a coma, you can escape.

It fits with the old Fairytales that inspired much of the show. People going to enchanted forests and townships and return to the real world after 10 years only to find they've only been gone 2 weeks, or vice versa. I recall old Arthurian myths where, if the Knight leaves the enchantment, they instantly age up to their "real" age and die. I agree that the From place has a different way of existing in relation to spacetime.

This place is feeding on imagination. The magic faraway trees are from a series by Enid Blyton. Whenever the kids climb to the top of the faraway tree they enter different universes. Some artifact/magic/child/alien has made imagination go ham in this place - so everyones fears, as well as everyones hope (through their heroes maybe) have manifest here - so some entities try to kill them and some try to save them.

Things in mind: 1. What if Victor is a bad guy. He wanted Tabitha out because Tabitha knows many things (and probably close to the discovering the truth) HOWEVER Tabitha has been good to her so he decided not to kill her. 2. Is Tabitha really back? What if she is another dimension or another level of misery? 3. Iff Tabitha is really back, did she bring with her Victor's lunchbox? 4. What is the purpose of the 7 children laying for some sort of sacrifice (angkhooey kids).

I just want to start by saying this episode really made up for the other filler episodes! Really a great finale and i hope this show dosnt get cancelled because im excited for season 3. Although, with shows like this i really dont enjoy how they dont keep up or follow through with original plot lines. I feel like boyd couldve been destroyed the music box. As for tabitha, she just wants to be back at the town at this point and im curious to see how shes going to tell them how to leave even though victor has known all along!! Why do you think Victor knows that is the way out? I thought all he knows is that this tree goes to the tower and his mom was going to save town. He found his mom's body by the tree saying she didn't make it to the tree. Maybe she did and had his sister with her. Maybe they did find out that was the way out and his sister was sent out. His mom came back to get him but was killed by night monsters. Although not sure how getting pushed out a window would make someone watching think that was the way out and not just a transport to another place of hell. Assuming she realized her daughter's body wasn't at the base of the tower. Unless the boy actually told the mom that to get out they had to jump and she believed him. Why he wouldn't tell Tabitha the same thing though and give her the choice. So my theory on that was Victor's mom didn't jump. She went back to get her son. Victor's sister didn't get help to come in the last 30 years. The boy couldn't take the chance that Tabitha wouldn't go so he pushed her.

It won't be surprising if Tabitha finds Victor's sister (who survived after all) in the real world. And as proof that she was in this place, she will show her Victor's box. And then they will go to ride on the roads together, hoping to get to this place. And when they get to the town, there will be a touching meeting between Victor and his sister. And they will tell everyone how to get out of this place, and the inhabitants of the town (poor, tortured and unfortunate people) will finally be saved!!!

Anyone notice the name of the hospital? Saint Anthony's . Saint Anthony is the patron saint of LOST things and also the poor, of sailors and fishermen, of priests and travelers. The people in from are definitely lost and they were all travelers. Boyd was referred to Mr. Fish and Loaves. We also had a priest in the show. Not sure what it means at this point but the show picked Saint Anthony for a reason and there has to be a meaning.

Oh my goodness, this episode was mind blowing and left me with more questions than answers. Let's go straight into my sus list. Let's start with Victor, who's very low on my list but never-the-less seems to know more than what he's leading on. Donna: Who's left to corroborate her backstory of how she came to be there? She always shows up unannounced. Why did she want to keep the fact that the radio worked? From the lowest to the highest, Tilly She's always stirring things up with her matter-of-fact statements and questions. Through out time, Religion has been used as a form of control, and here she is being Kumbaya in a circle of all things. I have one unanswered question: in the earlier episodes, when that love-struck fool let in one of those things, surprisingly, it felt warm to the touch. Why?

A few things that I find intriguing.. When the boy in white talks to Tabitha in the tower it's the first time he moves his mouth when he talks. Pretty sure all his past "communications" were "heard" via mental telepathy. I initially wondered why Victor would give his lunchbox to Tabitha. But if the lunchbox made it to the hospital with Tabitha then it's her evidence that what happened was real. Then has Jade disrupted something in the cave that will unleash a new terror in season 3 (similar to Boyd unleashing the worms from the tower)? Lastly, with the trees going bare I wonder if season 3 will feature a new obstacle for the townspeople, with apologies to the Stark family of Winterfell, could it be that "Winter is Coming?" Great, great show that my daughter and I have watched since S1 E1.

The lunchbox seems like a good plot point for us to follow moving forward but we need to pay close attention to the other things too. The writers are keenly aware that we are watching this show closely and I wonder if the lunchbox could be a little too obvious, or if it will just have us yelling at the TV come season 3. Either way, we're all keeping a keen eye on Victor's lunchbox.

A few observations. Donna has ulterior motives (to say the least). Boyd's wife talked about the importance of hope to the forest, but more specifically that it's because of hope that they suffer. So the entity creates hope so they suffer more. Donna had done nothing but give hope, and I think Boyd is on to her. In this episode alone, she had people think that the monsters might be dead, had Boyd go to the wedding (more hope), and when he was at his lowest point, she was the one giving Boyd hope. How do we know that Tabitha is back in the real world and not in another level/stage of Fromville? The peek out the window did not reveal much, but it almost looked like she was at some kind of resort or something. The scar on Tabitha's face seems to match an injury that she could have gotten pushed out the glass window of during a vehicular ACCIDENT. The vehicular accident would be very plausible and would mean that our characters are all in some sort of limbo world after an accident, but I don't think that sets up a season 3 well. The boy in White is some sort of guide/angel figure working against the Supreme being. His push of Tabitha through the window serves a larger purpose that goes beyond just escaping Fromville. The children Jade saw appear to have been used as some sort of power source for the village and the music box had mechanical parts in it. Something/someone engineered this place with technology more advanced than the residents can fathom. I think this is a world created to study these people, and somehow, the boy has the ability to move somewhat freely and is trying to help these people. That said, underwhelming episode and more holes that need to be plugged. Martin, in theory, was experiencing the same thing "the three" were, but we see that the "possession" reanimates then into the place where Boyd broke the box. My question is, where was Martin's other/real body? This is more sci-fi than it is witchcraft or folklore.

Theory time 1: you gotta die to escape. Reason why that boy pushed tab out the tower in order to get back in the real world 2: tab actually is still in from ville and the boy didn't want her to leave so she's probably dreaming knocked out 3: tab actually is in the real world and that tower could be the way out. Supernatural loop open door that's at the tower. Tab could find victor sister who could still be alive Another Theory i have is tab could be still in from ville BUT there's another level there (experiment) which the scientists found her and which why the little boy pushed her in order to save the kids who's there trapped 👀

One thing I have on my mind about From that I debated whether or not to mention in the comments section on any channel (especially yours, mu+y favorite From-related) is that this show is how you do representation in casting *without* making a big deal out of it. This is how you normalize a more diverse cast and crew scenario that actually reflects and informs the culture from which it's drawn. Hey wait a minute.. "the culture FROM which it's drawn"... and people always wondering where everyone is from.. Goddam did I just crack it? Did I? I gotta know!

As our host said, so much stuff in this episode could and should have happened earlier in the season. I really can't say I'm looking forward to a season three with the likelihood of it suffering from (and making the *fans* suffer from) such awkward and uneven pacing! I guess I don't have anything further to say untell there's an announcement as to whether there will be a season three in the first place. (And I *really* wish an ARG would pop up in the meantime!)

Hopefully season ³ gets picked up (renew) because season ² definitely had people very stressed out with the slow pace abd filter episodes. I heard they dragging this series for 4-6 seasons so if tab is out in the real world and victor sister finds her... That means the big reunited back to form ville won't happen until season ⁵ most likely and by season ⁶ that's when they answer all the questions we have. Season ⁴ will be a build up with tab in the real world and the folks in that from ville trying to figure out how to get out if tab got out.

There’s gotta be symbolism in Jade only trying to fit together pieces of different broken bottles after using a metaphor about putting together two puzzle pieces. They’re literally telling us that these events aren’t all part of the same puzzle.

I think they ARE telling us they fit together but everyone is filling in a diff piece of the puzzle. Tabatha is trying to save the garbage pail kids, Jade is working on the symbol and Boyd is growing into the hero that everyone needs him to be. At some point all of these things will overlap GoT style

The symbol looks like spider legs, but it also looks like the view when you’re looking up the staircase in the lighthouse tower, the exit from the bubble universe. And there is an entity controlling the bubble universe.

I cant remember where, I'll have to look, but i either read something or watched a different video where a guy was saying after some research he believes "anghkooey" (sp?) means tree/trees. 🤷‍♀️ No idea if it's true, but that would certainly be interesting!

I know it is a nit but Sarah said it was excited when it touched Kenny's arm. Talking about the bug that jumped out of the pit in his dream. After Sarah says that Kenny starts brushing his arm like he is grossed out and wants to wipe away the spot.

It was a good episode but so triggering. We got some answers but then again MORE BLOODY QUESTION!!!!. Also, the hospital scene kind of has me thinking she's in a hospital but if the whole place is a (experiment) then the hospital is run by those running the experiment.

I also think the messages in the bottles are clues. Likely memoirs or notes of the previous residents prior to them leaving. Interesting that Sarah (psychic outburst or attacks) or any visions to Boyd come at a critical point where something needs to be discovered or when too many relevant questions are asked. The entity presents itself and diverts attention...it seems to rely on them being there and feeding off them. There are different entities at work/present themselves when the right questions are asked (likely trapped souls)...mostly malevolent ones when critical clues are found (come in different forms to convince or induce fear).

and I also believe that everyone is actually dead or are in between spiritual planes. You definitely might be on to something. There's way too much happening without any clear answers but next season is setup to finally deliver some concrete answers on the fate of these folks.

Just finished the finale and boyyy it was a whole goddamn ride. We have QUESTIONS remained unanswered. More discoveries that made more theories. But that's what makes it really interesting and keeps you watching. I hope in season 3, I'll find out, Why are they all in Fromville, what is it actually, why are there monsters, what's also worst than monsters, what is the lighthouse actually, what the symbol means, who or what is the Boy in White and his dogs, what is that torture chamber wherein light meets dark, who are those Angkohey children, what's with the cicadas, why are there prisoners in the torture chamber, what's the music box, those dead hallucinations by some characters, why the house collapsed, why the electricities are powered by nothing, what's with the worm blood, where did Tabitha wake up to, and what's with the ballerina? After reading through most comments, I can mostly agree to each of these possible theories: 1. They're in a experiment by scientists either by a Truman Show way or The Matrix way or Virtual Reality Simulation. 2. Possibly alien doing too using the above. 3. An anomaly to the reality just happened to these certain group of people like Donnie Darko movie. They are in an alternate Universe. 4. They are on a limbo/pocket/universal reality since they are all comatose after being on a car accident from different cities. Their real bodies are each in a hospital while their souls or consciousness are trapped in that reality. 5. They are on a pocket/universal reality and they're actually in their real bodies. The tower is just a teleporter so when Tabitha was pushed, her body teleported to some area outside that reality. This is mostly possible for season 3 because most comments suggest that she will go find Victor's sister in the real world with the lunchbox. The lunchbox was with her body when she was pushed so it would makes sense for this theory to be used by the showrunners if they'll go with that story that Victor's sister and Tabitha will meet. That's it for now. It'll be a looooong long way to season 3 but it's relieving that From doesn't end there. I am just grateful for all the actors, the showrunners and everyone behind this show to deliver us mystery and thrill that no other show can compare. This show had me waiting every Sunday and even though I rarely get answers, it sure kept me watching for more. Season 3 i shall await.

its kind of silly to say this show isnt answering mysteries. its coalescing and condensing a LOT of the mysteries in the last 2 episodes 1) Cicadas, FROMbies, nursery rhyme, civil war soldiers, spiders etc all being in some way related to dead peoples fears (Saras theory) 2) Place feeding on strife and struggle (Jims theory) 3) Place feeding off hope (what the entity suggests to Boyd) 1-3 coalesce around the entity being a real malevolent being with intent that is setting all of these monsters on the people of fromville for SOME emotional or experiential purpose it seems to feed on. The behavior of the FROMbies being absolutely sadistic and not getting benefit out of harming the people seems to reinforced this. The boy in the white combining with the lighthouse combining with Tabithas visions the kids combining with the symbol who combine with the caves underneath who combine with Jades visions. saras visions combining with boyds experience with the worms and the dungeon. this story connects most with the rest of the mysteries, ends with boyd and the dogs. So the mysteries ARE condensing and there is plenty of cross pollination (Jade and Tabitha both seeing the kids, entering the caves), etc the strands are reducing and the few left are connecting. what the show needs to do is utterly cull any romance off in the next seasons, especially the nurses and preferably fatima/ellis, cut off crap emotional talking about feelings filler and start having each character actively take agency and solve mysteries, deal with enemies, explore answers, share information, make mistakes, stumble, challenge the entity and get closer and closer to winning

I think the boy in the white is the one who dragged Boyd and sarah s tent into deep forest , they're are so close to light house but somewhat that evil thing knows about the plan and caused catastrophic . Also the boy in the white is making tab and jade to see hallucinations , tab hallucinate the childrens , that increases her curiousity to find more about the children , she already have recurring dream about lighthouse ,she connected the dots and ends up getting home through the lighthouse , jade is seeing symbols and childrens maybe that's how he can get out of that place . So everyone have to find their way to get out of that place . Maybe that evil thing is using sarah to confuse everyone . If victor's mom takes victor and her daughter , victor wouldn't have end up here . At this point Victor didn't want to get out this place . Even if tab wants to go back it's not possible ? Because she broke the time loop . But I am very confused about the bracelet ? How the place choose people ? Who is the evil thing ? Is it a cult ?

So my theory was right! When boyd's wife mention about hope is what feeds the forest it made my theory fit in. Boyd found talisman and food (hope) the monster can now speak rather than screeching Kristi (hope) to see marielle a bus shows up to even the people after the massacre boyd found a way to kill the creatures (hope) killer dreams and killer cicadas

I wouldn't call Kristi's drug addicted girl friend showing up hope. Don't think Kristi wants her trapped with her. Plus that kills Kenny's hopes with Kristi. I think it's the opposite. I think hope breaks it down. Boyde is the nexus of that hope. Boyde goes out and hopes to find food. He finds animals. Boyde goes out into the woods and hides in a cave and hopes it keeps the monsters away. He finds the amulets and hopes they were key to keep monsters out at night. Boyde attacks a monster in the hopes of killing it with whatever he is infected with. The monster dies. Boyde goes into the dungeon in the hopes of saving the three. Something tries to break his hope of getting out. Fromville can't break him. Which is why it's upping the anti and the pain. The land has grown sour. Food is running low. Trying to take hope away. Nothing bad can run on hope. Hope is what keeps us going against all odds.

Ok idk if it's me but where Tabitha is in the light house on top looking at the trees There's reflections of the trees. One of the reflections looks like a trail. Like a street and trees. U think that's the portal and when she gets to that part of the window the boy spooks her and pushes her thru that part. What do you think ?

I can’t help but notice that Martin looks suspiciously like Randall, and whatever the children keep repeating sounds a lot like “Aunt Julie”. Both make me think that Randall, Julie and Marielle have been stuck in some kind of fucked up time loop that kept them chained to those walls for many years, and by breaking the music box Boyd actually broke that loop.

I find it odd that Donna always gives comfort/advice that implies that there are always positives to being in Fromville, kinda like the visions that Boyd keeps getting of his wife always mentioning that he needs to switch his course due to some emotional attachment or some deep seeded guilt. Ethan always gives interesting nuggets that tie in to the plot. E.g he mentioned "dying isn't bad" and bam!!! His mom gets thrown off the tower "dies" which is implied, but pops up elsewhere alive and away from Fromville lol😂
