Early in my career, I joined a big company that was collapsing and had major salary issues, which I only discovered after starting. None of the employees shared any news or took a stand; everyone was trying to secure their own positions privately. It felt strange, but then I realized that even the information I had wasn’t known to the labor force, and I couldn’t share it due to fear of causing further problems. fear of judgment and lack of trust often dominate in such situations. Most of the people will be on survival mode which ain't pretty /in here SARA already killed 2 due to the voice in her head. So ain't no away someone having vision going to share it with others

If you go back and watch closer, the bird scene with Elgin waking up to the commotion, and the flash image of him in the trailer, look at his shirt. There's a black crow or raven emblem on the front of his shirt. I have had a theory for awhile that Fromville is the limbo state, or comatose state, but I am pulled between whether it's a common place for anyone in a coma or if it's one person in the coma and all these people in Fromville are fragments of his making. If it's one person, I think it's Victor. In the intro all of Victor's images are shown but then we see the tapestry that is presumably done by Ellis hanging over Julie's bed at Colony House. That tapestry that shows the nude couple, presumably Ellis and Fatima. But if you look at the overall imagery it shows what clearly appear to be tire tread patterns replacing the roads and they all lead to the monster trees. There are a few assorted scenes of Victor's drawings in a few episodes which show these same images but the actual roads. That raises the question: who painted the tapestry at Colony House? Ellis or Victor? I thought Ellis took credit for it in Season 1 when Julie went there to CH...but the style is pure Victor. He's been there the longest. Now we're seeing his father and getting more back story that Victor's parents were tripping balls back in the day, and his mother basically ended up on a permanent trip. For those who don't know, there was always a theory back in the 70s that prolonged LSD use would leave you on "permanent vacation" and that once you lost grip with reality, you'd fall into the other realms brought forth by the drug and never find your way back. She appeared to be drawing this place, creating this place, and inhabiting it. IMO Victor's mother is in a coma or she is deceased IRL, and she took Victor off somewhere, she didn't make it and he has been in a coma this entire time. That's my #1 theory. However, given the separate stories, it also stands to reason that Fromville is a "universal" type place like purgatory or limbo and the catch 22 is this: When they end up in Fromville and lose their hope, they die in Fromville and the monsters devour them, and they die IRL. (e.g. the forest/monsters feed on their hope). But if they maintain hope, they can leave Fromville and regain consciousness IRL. That's logical...but it could be backwards... If they want to leave Fromville, they have to let go of their hope of remaining safe and alive there, and do what Boyd's wife said....let go, that's the only way out of this place. If they allow themselves to die in Fromville, that's how they return to IRL. Remember, Tabitha went to save the children in the tower / lighthouse and then the boy in white shoved her out the window after telling her it's the only way. She dies in Fromville.....and ends up alive in Camden. So it might be it's backwards.....they have to die in Fromville to come back to IRL. In any case, I think Victor's drawings tell a deeper story. He drew these same images his mother painted. If they're all back in limbo in Fromville, I do think it's cool Victor can reunite with his father.....who has some answers for the town, which is what Boyd and Jade realized they needed..........ever so conveniently.

The amount of NOT TALKING is way more insane and emotional than the monsters coming out. Jim answers the phone of a child saying it is his baby that died and runs to get Ethan and Julie while bumping into Lloyd and NOT sharing what just happened. Jade everything he is seeing, just spit it out so the people you’re out there with know just something. Annoying dude living in the bus seeing the bugs and Lloyd coming into the bus, says nothing. We all know this can go on and on, but seriously lol it drives me INSANE how no one talks about the experiences they have. You are in a magical town you cannot escape and human looking monsters come out to eat you and some, if not most, will all experience crazy things while you are there. Town hall meeting every night or 2-3 nights a week you all sit and share your unexplainable and unrealistic day together to help each other. S1 was the funniest with the non-talking because Lloyd and Father K tryna make the place seem all safe yet they hold in the most

Ok, random thought, if every cycle in the town follows the same pattern like you're theorizing, does every cycle also have a pregnant woman? Tilly mentions she has had 7 children, so what if she is the evil entity and has taken a fairer form to manipulate the townsfolk. I don't know how many cycle's there have been, but if there have been 7, it could make sense that she is there to claim another one, especially with how close she gets to Fatima. Tabitha might then need to save Fatima's child to 'save the children' and the town. I definitely think that Tilly has something to do with the entity/ is it, especially after the chained man died and the evil was 'released'. I also feel like Boyd is now somehow being 'protected' from the monsters and the entity as a way to suffer and cause fear. He keeps encountering them and has major plot armor to keep surviving when we know how brutal they really are.

I think it might also be possible that while the ambulance driver and the medics were transported back to Fromville as we know it, Tabitha and Henry didn't go there, instead arriving at a different version of the town altogether (perhaps an earlier version?)

@@vitanus Theyve added a small bit of detail to each of the characters, but as far as answers- there are none. Because if there were the show would have to end. So you're correct in the obvious assertion that the revealing of the monsters would be at the end of the show. You can ask any question of the show and realize this with the "answers" we've gotten so far. The goal of writers in a show like this is to always create more questions at any time. That is what keeps the show going. Dont talk to me about low IQ when you cant give one example of what we know now when its supposedly "quite a bit more". Here are some questions with their current answers based on what we know. You'll see that its only whats obvious. What are the monsters and their intentions? A: They were probably human at some point and they want to torment us. Where is the town? A: nobody knows. What do the children have to do with all of it? A: unclear, they seem to need saving (as abandoned children do). This isnt enough questions to keep interest going in the show so the spin more sub-plots with characters like jade seeing things(creating more questions), the 3 characters who got infested by cicadas(more questions, no answer), boyd getting a blood bug(question, no answer, they seem to have moved on from this), fatima's conception, elgins dreams, the voices that made sara do things, ETC ETC ETC. No answers, just questions spun from more plot.

I think this is the case. If the forest feeds on their hope and they lose hope, they do stupid things and end up getting eaten by the monsters. Boyd's wife was basically telling him that his hope is keeping him there, and he should let go...but he doesn't because he has a strong survival instinct, presumably. So, if they lose hope and the monsters get them, they die IRL. If they go through the tower and fall to their deaths, they regain consciousness IRL. I've thought all of them are coma patients, perhaps after accidents while traveling, and Fromville is like limbo...but I've also thought only Victor is in the coma and all these people with him are fragmented memories and he's created this entire place...like Boyd is the Sheriff who he caught glimpses of at the crash site, in and out of consciousness, Donna is the hospital administrator, Tabitha is there because her husband is also being treated for mental health issues and Tabitha reads to Victor, that kind of thing. But I agree with everyone else, what we have here is a failure to communicate! lol.

Hope, that is what fuels the Forrest. Every time a new plan is formulated, the Forrest changes the game and adds more people. It's a constant circle trying to complete what was started with the lost kids and why they wanted the 8th boy dead.

Here's the kicker though. From our POV, Tabitha made it out and back to IRL, she ends up finding Victor's dad and they're on the way to the tree and we're all expecting more answers...but then she gets nauseated, finds the bracelet and suddenly thinks she's still part of the same Fromville reality...that they're messing with her mind, it's an hallucination. And we had HOPE that no, she's IRL so we can figure it out. They're transporting the two of them in the ambulance > after a wreck < and then at least the ambulance and paramedics end up in Fromville. But do Tabitha and Victor? In S1, Kenny, I believe, showed Jade the map and everyone in Fromville was traveling somewhere and ended up at the tree in the road. Immediately, I thought it was that all of these people were in wrecks and are coma patients. Fromville is kind of a limbo place that's universal, basically. The nurses kept telling her she had a significant head injury so if she was IRL and had another accident, it could've sent her back into the coma. OR......it's another layer of Fromville, like Tabitha figures out right before another accident and back she goes.

Atleast give us answers of Season 1 so that it becomes interesting for us. Everything's a mystery, how do we connect to the story! The frustration of characters as same as the audience and till a point it's good until it becomes annoying

Look at Victor's drawings. The intro showing Victor's drawings, but then it switches briefly to the tapestry presumably done by Ellis. He offered it to Julie as a gift in S1 when she chose to live at Colony House. But the style of the art is pure Victor. There is a big clue in it. The roads in the tapestry are tire tread patterns, like you find on the road when the vehicle skids. The roads / tread patterns lead to the monster trees. So......who painted the tapestry? Was it Ellis, who paints way better than that, or was it Victor who did the tapestry? If it was Ellis, why did he copy Victor's style? If it was Victor who painted it, why did Ellis take credit for it?

I get everybody wants answers. I do too and they keep adding more mysteries and less answers. But this is one of those shows that you need to be patient and they eventually give you all the answers at the end. Stop watching those 30-second tick tocks all day and your attention span will be a little bigger for you to wait this out

My theory for the "voodoo statues" is that they are the various deaths of sacrificed people. Perhaps the statues hold the "soul" of that individual sacrifice. Jade broke one possibly releasing it.

I don't think he's immune. The main clues here are that the forest / monsters feed on their hope. I'm torn on this because of Boyd's wife telling him the only way out is to let go, basically to let go of hope and surrender to their fate. Scenario A is if they lose hope and let the monsters devour them, they return to IRL. Scenario B is if they lose hope and let the monsters devour them, they die IRL. Basically all of these people are coma patients, had car accidents, Fromville is kind of a universal limbo state and they're trying to find their way back. Scenario C, then is if they fall to their deaths out of the tower, on the other hand, they regain consciousness IRL like Tabitha did. But then it's wonky that she finds Victor's dad and they both end up in Fromville. lol

As much as I get people being upset with the mystery, I don’t think the show is actually about that, which I know is a crazy statement but it’s about the people going through crazy amounts of stress and panic. I think Jim was right it’s a test area on some cosmic level of understanding that even if we are told it won’t appease us, so enjoy the acting and human story telling.

I wonder if the dummy has any importance and who it originally belonged to. Maybe it's a hint. It's all a game, and they're like puppets being controlled by a puppet master, same as the monsters. Trapped in some virtual reality purgatory where everyone's worst fears manifest themselves as they hinted at once already. Do yall think there's a monster like boogeyman that has the town under control or an evil land that travels anywhere like the dc character that's literally a sentient street. Maybe it's an alternate dimension you get pulled into? It's clear now Victors mother and the bottle tree are extremely important. Maybe they all originally got there through the bottle tree in the park they were heading to before the car accident. It seems Victors ma knew exactly what to do there, but just died in the process and didnt have a chance to tell anyone else what was going on as she acid tripped the whole story! Either way, i love the suspense but would like some answers and connective tissue
