It was nice to see the beauty of the morning being shattered by Lester's "big break through". LOL. At least he didn't fall completely to the ground. It seems Carl is more at ease when you all ignore him and remain calm. If you relax and do not try to engage him, he is chill. And the calmness of your voices and no dancing is the ease time. I think Carl behaved quite well I think you guys should do it more often where you come out there and sit and be a team so he sees that you're both together and Jamie's with you so there's no fear there for him protecting her so I think this is going to help Carl relax and become more trusting with Lester

That was a BIG win. At one point, I was reminded of the scene from Jurassic Park, where the two kids were hiding quietly with their backs against the cabinet doors in the kitchen, while the Raptors were were search for something to eat. You and Jamie had that same look on your faces, as he slowly approached. I went a step further, if Carl started getting nasty, I just had a feeling that Jami had a plan to use her tool, to hold up high and show dominance, while Lester bolted over the fence. I also thought Jamie was going to lose her pearls at one point, he was looking hard at the back of her neck. Then I focused on Lester and realized he was wearing a red hat and an Ostrich shirt, Lester who does mating dance offs with Carl! He was really checking Lester out, to see if he was in the "mood". This is when I thought Jami might have to trade her pearls for Lester's dignity. But I guess Carl isn't a morning person, he really doesn't get going until after his breakfast.

Carl seems fine when you are not having a face off. Calm and standing looking away. He is relaxed as well you can see it. Curious and seems to like the company... Not looking him in the eye but just being in the same area as all the other animals. Calm and relaxed, though inside you may not be so relaxed. :-)

Aw that was a good video. And Carl behaved himself. I think he could sense that you were talking about something serious and he wanted to be on his best behavior. But Lester, what could have made this video even more fun, would have been if you had fallen completely through the chair or that the chair toppled a backwards and you landed on the ground lol. Great video! What I observed about Carl was when you and Lester were standing in the pasture. Carl seemed just curious about you and what you were doing. But when Lester, called over the Littles, Carl's demeanor charged to cautious and concerned. His facial expression changed and the wings came up. I do think Carl sees himself as protector of the Littles and Lester became a threat. It's like Carl was saying here come MY babies. It's time now for you to leave, Lester! Just my observance.

This video is why we love you so much. It’s the crazy stuff that happens that you couldn’t make up if you tried. I was laughing so hard when Lester went through the chair. I just kept thinking OMG please dear god just don’t let Carl decide to pick on Lester now. That would have been a hot mess.
