Carl, the "big" water baby. I love his happy tail swishing back and forth. He is sooo happy and adapting very well. He's finding his way around there better than I thought he would in such a short period of time. But, I guess not getting beat up and injured has surely helped him alot. Y'all rock on your rescues but this has got to top them since he's not a domestic animal. I know Pig Trudy isn't either but Carl typically isn't from here. His type comes from across the big pond. Love to y'all for all you do. Thanks again for sharing your videos with us and educating us with your knowledge.

I just love that Carl is so happy now. He really is enjoying his sprinkler time🚿. Thank you Jami for giving Carl the time to get used to the sanctuary and the different animals there. Well Jami, your new feather baby is loving you. Why wouldn’t he, everyone does. Carl has a lot of gestures and who would know Set an ostrich wagged his tail?, in LE’s video he was trying to talk with his mouth (feed me) and came in really close to him and then he uses his wings to communicate. Who knew? That’s what’s so awesome about your sanctuary - just some days blows me away. Hugs💖

Yes, Carl is officially a Feather Baby! "Shake yo' tail feathers baby!" LOL Jami, I knew you would come to see him in all his glory. I bet, if any critter thought to try taking one of the survivors, Carl would do more damage on them than you can imagine. A bird's gizzard, well I asked that once and the naturalist said something like this. Think of a rock tumbler, for polishing rocks, as the bird takes in food the rocks help to break it down. As that process happens the rocks tumble against each other and they slowly break down too. Kind of a simple explanation, however, it helped a 10-year old to understand. Love this Jami, thanks for sharing.

When I saw the first Carl video, I thought Lester had lost his mind. But it inspired me to do a lot of reading, and with your information as well, it didn’t take but a few minutes for me to fall in love with Carl. When I see an alert pop up and it’s a new Carl video, I stop whatever I’m watching to see the latest. I’m a lifelong parrot/ parakeet owner and have had my Amazon for 34 years. Parrots gizzard is muscular enough that they don’t require grit or rocks to grind their food. Love you Carl! 💕 💗 ❤️ 💕

Bird's love water. I don't think he's ever had 1 on 1 with anyone. It's new to him, but he's loving every minute of it. He's getting better every day. You can see his true character coming through. There amazing bird's. Can't wait to see how he grows every day. I think he's gonna be a snuggler. ❤️
