"Sorry"
More than just complicated
More than just okay
No it's not over rated
Every word you slay
(Chorus)
Sorry
Doesn't always make it starry
Maybe next time be more charming
So you don't have to say Sorry
You don't have to say Sorry
Another lie and deception
Just a smile that's paid
Better change your reflection
Start a new crusade
(Chorus)
Sorry
Doesn't always make it starry
Maybe next time be more charming
So you don't have to say Sorry
You don't have to say Sorry

I don't know of any band from any era that has a lead singer with such good vocals that can also play guitar on par with some of the best lead guitarists out there. He is so underrated.

We're all getting old but God promises our lives will be full with HIM. You can see that truth working full force with the guys in Stryper and it is great to see them still at it today. I remember seeing their albums in my older brothers room when I was in my early teens and I would sneak all of my brothers cassettes out of his room and listen in my room for hours on end. I love music and it is truly a driving force in my life and it makes me happy to see Stryper doing so well still today.

Amazing how it seems like they had some guardian angles who were watching out for them to keep them from the Hollywood rich and famous lifestyles or just the snairs of the devil all these years??? God blessed them 🙏 that's for sure, it was a horrible tragedy for Michael to lose his wife to cancer though. But even when it looks the darkest, he was somehow able to pull himself up and now like a perfectly aged fine wine these guys have matured. I've followed Stryper since the mid 80s, been to many concerts and their live performances were mind blowing in the fact they always seemed to sound even better live than on the recordings lol! Wore out properly about 4 In God We Trust tapes over that decade! My personal opinion which blew me away was hearing their newer albums, to me anyways, I believe their music is even better than it was back when they were younger and at the top of their pinical. Their songs and lyrics are so much more complex and deeper, also they have become a lot more progressive with their rhythms and riffs. Which also being a Dream Theater fan that is exactly my style of music. Not having a POS record label telling them how to play or what to sound like is also a very important important contributing factor for this change in how they've grown and matured like a fine tuned machine. Love everything about Stryper! Hope they can keep it coming 🙏 God please watch over your servents of heavenly heavy metal and keep them healthy and strong in this battle against the darkness over light we are engaged in. Let the Light prevail with your help and support the men and women on the front lines of this battle. Amen 🙏

Three songs into this album and I am seriously regretting never giving these guys a fair shake back in the 80s, when I was (well, OK, still am) a raging 14-year-old Slayer nut. I always thought "Ah, they're *Christian*, they're wusses." Well, 34+ years after the fact, these guys are still firing on all cylinders with 3/4 of the original lineup, still killing it, those harmony vocals still spot on, Michael Sweet still hitting those high notes with rock solid authority and being grittier with age as well...damn. I think I need to dig into their back catalog some more and give them some time to soak into my DNA. I'm not even remotely religious, but this is moving me. Thanks for keeping it positive and classy, fellows!

It boggles my mind to be honest...This band is literally putting out their best stuff this decade...The old stuff of course is great but what other 80s band is getting better than they were in their "prime"? Most of them just tour off their old catalog of hits...Which I am grateful to have at least that....but I mean what if all the sudden Def Leppard had a better song than Pour Some Sugar On Me? Or Poison had something catchier than Every Rose, or Nothin' But a Good Time? Can Bon Jovi beat one of their mega hits?

I don't understand where you're coming from when you say this is better than their 80's stuff. This blows

Guitar Pedal Shoppe Well I understand if you feel that way, nothing wrong with personal taste, even if you're lying and Thanks but all that a hearing aid is gonna do is magnify the sound of this which is not good. Lol

This is a great new album from Stryper but one other band that did get better with age was the Scorpions.

Exactly! And no big outlets are giving stryper tht recognition. Any of their new songs can stand up to their 80a catalog its crazy

I honestly didn't even know these guys were around anymore. I was listening to the Soldiers Under Command album just a couple days ago when reading someone's comment about listening to the album, Fallen. I'm so glad I read that comment because it's so good. the album before it as well from what I listened to so far. I grew up a young teen with their first two albums along with their EP but then just kinda stopped listening to them as much. I got into the whole thrash metal n punk scene. it had absolutely nothing to do with their lyrics either being that I've been a Christian since little on. just wanted heavier n faster at the time even though especially now, listening to those first few albums...so musically talented n IMO, I think they're only getting better with age. I'm proud to say I'm a Stryper fan now more than I ever was. such good timing with the new album coming out in April. I can't wait. God bless Stryper and everyone else as well.
