I feel like the speed of Metallica is more warranted compared to *some* megadeth stuff which feels like it’s quick for the sake of it (obviously tornado which is 100% to be played that fast if not faster). I could be wrong though. Ps love megadeth and that’s just me being honest Edit: Can't find ya comment brutha, I think when I made this comment I was holding their first album in mind. Probably because it was the time when metallica was doing what's in the vid. Megadeth are about my fav band for what they did about 2 albums later and beyond :D

Live After Death is the best concert of all time. It is the concert that influenced all the others and it came out 4 years before this one. The influence was both in technical and sound deployment, as well as in pyrotechnics and visuals (number of cameras). A lot of music is missing in these comments that speak of the best of all time when it really is not. But I do consider that it is the best Metallica concert, before they became clowns on stage.

Thanks for posting this. I was at this show…14 years old at the time and seeing Metallica for the first time. One of the best concerts I’ve ever been to. I remember a huge wave of people from the the upper levels broke through security and rushed the area in front of the stage right at the beginning of the show. It was a giant mosh pit for the rest of the night.

Saw the band several times on this tour. One of my memories is how incredibly, freakishly loud their shows were. Just deafening. Haven't been to any other show since that brought the walls down like Metallica in their classic era. Damn...

Going to see them this summer, only my second or third concert ever. Man I bet being there at this concert was so epic, grateful I get to see them in my lifetime regardless. These guys and their music will always have a special spot in my heart
