Frozen II felt like a really good fanfiction. All the ideas it had were interesting but it had some problems with the execution sometimes. A lot of scenes that were obvious fanservice and you could see where they wanted to push the merchandise. As a Frozen fan I enjoyed it a lot, but I wished that they dared to do something incredible with this, because I know that they'd have the potential to do so.

Whenever Disney ticks me off with their greed and monopolizing and destruction of the film industry as we know it (which is all the time) I like to remember that when Coco came out with that half hour long Olaf "short", people were NOT HAVING IT. I worked at a theater at the time and guests would come out of the stadium to question why this was playing, if they were in the wrong movie, that they paid to see Coco and weren't too pleased about having to wait out this overlong annoying snowman trainwreck. Some guests were so put off that they closed their checks and left then and there. Eventually the short was removed from the theatrical cut altogether and we started advertising it as "Coco - WITHOUT the Frozen short".

Thomas Street I remember that my mom invited her friends and their kids to watch ‘Coco’ with me and my family. When we arrived at the theater, ‘Olaf’s Frozen Adventure’ was playing and I do remember seeing a mother and a child leaving the theater and I had to explain to them that this was just an animated short , not Frozen II. I also saw some people complaining that they paid to see Coco and not an Olaf special. In the 2nd movie she was conflicted about her place in the town. At first we see her rejecting the thoughts about leaving the town to live in a different place, as said in the song "Into The Unknown" "Anyone I've ever loved is here within these walls, I'm sorry secret siren but I'm blocking out your calls". However, later in the song her curiousity raised and followed the voice and her desires to live in a different place "are you someone out there who is a little bit like me, who knows deep down who I trully meant to be".

No offence to Jeremy, but his "loud and obnoxious" attitude grew tiresome and annoying years ago. He doesn't really have anything valuable to say about movie-making and he's been doing the same shtick for a decade now. Chris is by no means some type of high intellectual standard in movie criticism, but at least I feel like he's genuinely passionate about film, has unique perspectives and knows a great deal more than average film fans or KZbin reviewers like Jeremy. Chris is actually interesting to listen to. Jeremy was entertaining to watch... "was" being the key word. So I don't think there's anything to be gained from a colab between these two guys.

Visually the movie was very good the story was all about spirits and magic which kinda was reaching. The movie was more mature I liked this one more because it had great songs and visuals. Elsa has to kinda prove herself to be the fifth spirit through different challenges. I was bummed to see Anna and Elsa went their separate ways but overall I give it 7.5, would definitely watch it again.

I just saw the movie and to be fair, I think Olaf was actually part of some of the best movie scenes. Which isn't saying much, because the movie was very uninteresting and does barely anything to grab your attention except with the visuals. I can’t be the only one that was constantly waiting for a let it go type of song. As well as I was constantly waiting for a better story arch. Frozen 2 was hyped up so much and I think if I didn’t go into it thinking so highly of it, maybe I would’ve liked it a lot better. I just think the choices and story wise it went through didn’t line up with the first one or the extended information like the shipwreck of their parents, it just didn’t line up with the story in frozen 2. I hate the decision of switching up Elsa and Anna’s positions and I feel like they really were trying to get money with this movie, which is fine.
