Erickson Farm has been a family farm since 1911. Specializing in tropical fruit including mango, lychee, avocado, sapodilla, and leaves.
I visited them in their lychee season to try the amazing variety of lychee fruit they sell. It didn't disappoint me. I highly suggest you get some lychees from them.
Their Website is
ericksonfarm.com/
Call them before you come out to pick up your order and they will have it ready for you. Their number is 561.924.7714. They are NOT a U-pick farm.
Hak Ip Lychee: Hak Ip lychee, also known as Black Leaf lychee, is prized for its unique combination of rich flavor and attractive appearance.
If you have a yard growing fruit trees, I'd love to come and film, especially in the South Florida area. You can contact me at paul@rawlife.com please include the area you are in.

I'm sorry Paul, borh pronunciations: lie chee and lee chee are correct. One is Cantonese and the other is Mandarin. Your mispronunciation is unique and is neither of the above. You consistently say lee chay, which nobody else on rhe planet says and it's like fingernails on a chalkboard to hear. I'm only telling you because I love you brother.❤

at 10:25 Paul asks Kimberly about the pronunciation. I think Paul is thinking about the first part of lychee/leechee but it's actually the last part of the name that is being mispronounced. As @subpilot1000 mentions, it should be pronounced lie CHEE and lee CHEE. Emphasis on the long E in the second part of the name. No disrespect to Paul but want him to be informed.

Oh Thank you. Now I understand, the end is EEEEE not Chay. THank you for saying it. I thought people were fussing over the beginning and didn't think about the end. Thank you

Lake Okeechobee bigger than the Great Lakes! It’s not even close. Big O is a big lake but not even close to the size of the Great Lakes. Okeechobee is 662 sq miles. 9th largest natural lake in the US. Lake Ontario, the smallest Great Lake is 7340 sq miles.

I have a Hak-ip lychee tree in my garden in Orlando. It has never been damaged by cold. With climate change, we are zone 10a, about the same as Palm Beach county was 20 years ago. The Hak-ip is truly a premium variety, and sells for $19/lb at the Asian markets here compared to $9/lb for comon varieties. But the fruits off my tree are WAY better than from any market. Lychee is best as soon after picking as possible, so I don't really trust lychee from most markets where they may be sitting for several days.

This is so cool! My little home orchard consists of: Avocado, amaryllis (double triple ruffle varieties, rare only), unusual avocados and lychees! Whoever made that farm has great taste! Haha. I do have a few other things in the ground but these are my gems!!
