Most fights in vanilla are not that long so do the test with pummeler for 1.5 min + change pre bis gear so you get 6% hit rating. That's the best hit pre DM you can have.

Why is the damage in the character sheet lower with the better gear? 2:28: 377-483 damage with 626 power and 3:04: 308-424 damage with 728 power.

I appreciate this video, but I think the lack of Pummeler is a big deal. It's really not that hard to farm, 30% drop chance and each run only takes about 5 minutes. Going from 1.0 attack to 0.5 means more white damage, higher chance to crit, and higher chance to proc Omen. With close to pre-raid BiS, 8% hit, MCP going the whole fight and no world buffs (because I'm on a PVP server and get unlucky) I managed to do 520 dps on Shazzrah. On Vaelastrasz I can get around 650 with no world buffs. Still not rogue numbers, but we bring more to the raid than just dps. Plenty of fights I can tank, throw out a little healing, decurse, or even hibernate the dragonkin in BWL.

@@MrEverisforever how much dps do you do on Vael with no world buffs bro LOL?? You have pally buffs and world buffs. I play horde on a high pop 90% alliance pvp server. Getting into the raid without dying or having buffs purged by a priest is a fucking pipe dream. You play alliance on a low pop 75% alliance server, and frankly your logs for other bosses are pretty average, whether you have world buffs or not. Shut the fuck up.

It's not all dps though, the best part about druids is SUPPORT. Shifting out to OT a stray mob, off healing the tank through heavy damage, battle rezzing the healer, etc. And the 3% crit buf!

I did a test with the pummeler but the DPS increase over was only really apparent for the first few minutes then it fell off. It was an increase of maybe 100 DPS or so.

Thank you for all the effort put into this video. The only things I'd like to add to the discussion is most guilds will know of and use annihilator which stacks with sunder and FF.. is an extra - 600 armor on the boss.. On some of the tests.. FF falls off for some time which can really hurt your damage.. Moreover.. Crowd pummeler is a weapon that does take time to farm but does benefit you greatly. Not only will this haste increase potential seal of wisdom procs.. But could maybe allow you to get a different flask.. Maybe of Supreme power if you use the trinket off the last boss of LBRS (scales with spell power) as well as dragonbreath chili.. Some of the AQ gear has spell power on it which can help increase the damage of these two items.. There are some other items in the game that might or might not scale with spell power like the neck off kazzak and some other similar items which add dmg to every attack you do.

Where are the Annihilator and Hemorrhage debuffs that we saw in shaman and paladin videos? And do not skip MCPs (2 for a 4 minute fight and switch to regular weapon for the last 30s), they are a bigger dps boost than all of the other consumables in this video (both pots & food), they should also have iron counterweight on them too ideally (those aren't expensive). As to the mana issues, Judgment of Wisdom on alliance should generally be up on all bosses and is a great source of mana for a feral with their fast attack speed (even faster with MCP). Please re-do this.

Great points Mike. I regret putting those debuffs on the previous videos (i regret a lot from my videos) and wanted to use debuffs that were the norm and not ones we prob won't see very often. I probably should have just used MCP. Its a big part of feral druids and Ill prob have to fix that later. I did some testing with Wisdom and it did help a bunch but decided to go without it. Def would help with that short lull of no mana that I kept having at around 2 minutes. I appreciate the feedback and will be going over a lot of mistakes in a future video. Probably very soon.

@@FruitNut Thanks for replying! Hemorrhage is indeed a rare sight in a raid, but Annihilator is not, on the private servers it is basically the norm for any guild that raids. And that -600 armor is huge.

Ya on Alliance wisdom and judgment of wisdom keeps power shifting far more sustainable. Also since Druids don’t benefit from windfury, blessing of Kings is huge. Crowd pummeler is essential for competitive feral cat dps. It’s no joke about 33% more overall dps because white hits still form a big piece of the pie. Finally, on some bosses the guild will let you have a Rip debuff slot. You will crush the charts when this happens!

A big part of feral dps is Judgment of Wisdom as a debuff slot on the boss, which is good for shadow priests and hunters but most importantly arcanite dragonlings.

I'm not that well on feral knowledge but everything seemed ok. Outside, of course MCP. While MCP is a pain to have to farm on top of other consumables, I wouldn't say it's that bad because ferals can quickly and easily get to the boss through the back door. And you'll only really ever use them on boss fights, usually switching to an alternative FAP weapon or other stat stick after you've used the charges if you've gotten one yet. I am much more experienced with moonkin as that's what I started playing when I first joined WoW.

Getting rid of Cower was one of the worse things Blizzard ever did to the Feral Druid. I'm casual to the point of Epic Mediocrity and would not want to count how many times I was at the top of Recount after short to medium encounters. My Classic Druid is only Level 38 and already has that ridiculous opening burst. My main is not Druid... My main is Catform.

Use "/cancelform" to cancel any form and save characters. Use "/cast *spell name*" afterwards ie. /cancelform /cast regrowth Or /cancelform /cast cat form

First thing to now, and it's the same for Balance Druid: It's only more or less decent on the Alliance side because of all blessings, and the insane mana given by judgement of Wisdom. On horde side you run out of mana shapeshifting far too quick... :'(... Plus innervating yourself in feral is a huge waste for the raid. But this is another matter...

Feral dps is rubbish but in 5,10,20man raids as tanks ,world pvp , duels and 1vs1 or 1vs2 it is a beast.In pvp if it gets the opener u put alot of pressure since ravage in feral can do 1.5k+ dmg pre raid.

Remember that druids dont have weapon skill, the boss will have 14 parry in classic and druids are pritty much fucked as feral then. Feral druids on private servers are atleast 3 times better then they will be on classic.

druid bears have to worry about that, but cat druids won't be parried. You have to stand behind the target to use shred as well as you should always be behind the boss so they can't parry.

Feral Druids don't use it in forms, you're for all intents and purposes at 300/300 like any other level 60 that has nothing increasing it. The 14% parry isn't going to reduce your overall damage by 30-40% unless you literally stand in front of the boss like an idiot wondering why your Shred button isn't working anymore.
