Haru is both Yuki’s protector and child. Their dynamic is so funny and cute. I love it whenever he tugs or hold Yuki’s shirt. I love them!! I also noticed that even when he turns into dark Haru, he’s still so gentle towards Yuki- despite being agressive towards others.

There were articles where the author confirmed Haru really swung both ways, but those were published back when the manga was first coming out so I don’t think you can find them anymore. Also when Rin and Haru were kids and they visited Yuki in the room he used to be locked up in, Rin is quite cold to Yuki. The author implied that’s partially because she’s keeping watch for Akito, and partially cause she’s a little jealous since she knows Haru liked him first.
