Hi again, Blacky. Just had a refresher here. I just wanted to say how much I have enjoyed ALL your FSL video's and I'll miss your friendly voice now you have departed. Take care my friend. (Dave Taylor)

Awesome information, thank you for sharing! Don't forget to mention that when flying above FL 140 we can expect one and a half minutes on the outbound leg and a standard holding pattern is always flown with right-hand turns! In the real aircraft if you press the "imm exit" prompt the aircraft will turn immediately to the holding fix (nepal) and exit the holding pattern. Cheers and happy landings!

At or below FL 140 we can expect 1 minute for the outbound leg!

All correct. However the FSlabs doesn’t do all of those things yet. Please always remember that I am not a real world instructional channel. Everything shown here is especially for the FSLabs. Thank you for your feedback 👍🏼

Thank you for the tutorial. Is there a way to create a hold without any waypoint or Navaid? Yesterday, I was flying on Vatsim and the controller instructed me to "hold at current position". I didn't know how to do that so I made a hold in the MCDU at the nearest waypoint/fix.

Hello! Can you do a tutorial on NADP 1+2 procedures? Especially for the A320? Thank you!

@airflo_muc5 жыл бұрын
@666Satoshi945 жыл бұрын
@@airflo_muc Danke Dir.
@airflo_muc5 жыл бұрын

@@airflo_muc OK. Super. Got It.

My FSLabs A320 always overshoots the holds, when I check on project fly it looks like a triangle with curved edges. Any help?

Hi Blackbox. How to program inbound track to a waypoint. I need that to program final leg of VOR tear drop approaches that are not available in database simulator. Many thank in advance.

Please correct me if I’m wrong, the clearance should be ‘hold Nepal, inbound radial 209, right turn’. Right?

Hi Blackbox.... could you do a video please how to do a fully managed approach for NPA using RNAV (Enroute and Approach) and for either a VOR or a LOC approach. Thanks. I'm about to do my type rating in the A320 and your videos have been very helpful. Cheers - Ed

Hey BB ! quick question, when descending: why do we often see the pilot use a specific descent rate, like 2000 or 3000 fpm, instead of DES or OP DES ? Since all altitude constraints are already entered into the FMGS, what's the point of setting a specific number on the FCU ?
@Blackbox7115 жыл бұрын
Good question. Unless ATC gives the pilots a certain descent rate, the best way would be to just do a managed descent. I have flown the B747 and 737 before and back then the VNAV mode was not very good and so I also got used to select V/S mode instead of the VNAV function. The A320 FMGS is better compared to the older Boeing FMS, but that took a little while to accept for me.

is the mcdu capable of doing the hold or orbit at PPos? in case we got radar vector.
@Blackbox7112 жыл бұрын
I haven’t tried it for a while. But iirc it does do it.
@sanoz41725 жыл бұрын
But this was when ATC has given you already a inbound Heading. What should i put into the Inbound course, when no ATC is online? I would first of all put in either the HDG you are flying or one of the HDG's given in charts. Which then makes problems because it does not do the Holding according to chart. Even if you say right turn and the charts say right holdings. It doesn't do the same like in the chart. Can anyone help me that is always frustrating me. Maybe thats because i am using Aerosoft A320
@Blackbox7115 жыл бұрын
Hi. I am not using the Aerosoft A320. However maybe it is also possible there to alter the inbound track and turn direction in the holding menu?

Every time I’ve tried a hold in the FSLabs-it’s done a mode reversion on me to HDG-can’t figure out why. Would you think it’s because of speed?

Blackbox, I see you have a RTX 2080ti. i think it's absurd to spend around € 1300 for it! Did you spend that much or you found it cheaper somewhere?
@Blackbox7115 жыл бұрын
Hi. No, if you already own a 1080Ti for example, then the upgrade is in no ways justied. The performance gain is absolutely minimal in that case. I bought a complete new PC and hence upgraded for future use.
