You're welcome, thank you! I know those three years will seem like an age, but 18 is still really young to have things figured out and be on testosterone! It is also good that your parents are open to you starting testosterone. All the best with everything :)

Thanks a lot. I'm pre T. I just messaged a gender therapist about a week ago. Being in Germany it will be quite tough to get on T, but I'm positively working towards it. It's frustrating though that I don't really have enough money to buy new clothes and stuff, so I just end up in a girly-ish shirt for a day which is really uncomfortable... but I'm getting there... i'm wearing my first pair of boxers today (which i got in my advent calendar), just went into the boy's toilet at school for the first time last week, and am looking forward for some new clothes on Christmas. All in all I am just so happy and comfortable finally being able to present as myself and that's simply amazing. :)

I think it's important to not forget about the rest of the world. T isn't everything, even though it seems like it now. T won't make you happy on it's own, it's just one aspect of your life. You need friends, family, bf/gf, study/work, life goals and dreams etc. If you've neglected all that the T-shot suddenly won't feel as wonderful. Your gender identity is just one part of you.

Hey so I know that you probably won't see this because you have a lot of subscribers and you most likely don't read all of the comments but I just really wanted to thank you for making videos and documenting everyday life being trans. It was your videos (or, rather, your video on Buzzfeed) that made me start exploring gender and helped me realize that I'm trans. I know that this seems like the really cheesy "thank you" youtube comment, but your videos have really impacted me for the better. Keep making videos!!!

I have a problem. So I'm trans and Pre-T and all that, which is fine, I can wait a little while longer to start. My issue is that I still really like to wear skirts and dresses, to get my nails painted, and wax my eyebrows. My mom says that "real" men don't do that stuff. I think we can. My friends think we can. I really want to be able to pass and to go into the men's restroom, but I still want to keep my style. I've been hurt by men in the past and I'm afraid it'll happen again if I continue to dress the way I like. What do I do?
@shanelessme62898 жыл бұрын
If you're afraid to go to the bathroom find a local bathroom with only one stall, like at a restaurant. Be you and explain yourself. If they say you can't be then be patient, if they love you they will learn to accept you. Try to go into family or handicapped single room restrooms only. I hope I helped.

Looking at other people on T made me intensely jealous [especially if they were younger than me or had a shorter wait, I had a six year wait and I still can't believe it didn't become seven] but you know what did help me? Voice practices and playing with how deep I could make my voice. Juuuust don't record it and play it back -- your own voice always sounds deeper than it actually is and if you have very strong voice dysphoria like I do, it will be jarring, possibly the opposite effect.

I'm trans I am ftm but I haven't came out. I am scared of being rejected. The only thing I don't like is changing my birth name it has a nice meaning to it. My name (Abbigail) is not unisex. I'm 12 but I know I am trans I hate my hair being long I hate my breasts I hate wearing girly things I have always wanted to be a boy but i really need advice
@audreydoyle52686 жыл бұрын
Jace Jordan have you thought of the name Gabriel, I think it’s as beautiful as Abbigail. And not liking your hair being long, or girly clothes doesn’t mean you’re a trans guy necessarily. But not liking your breasts does and always wanting to be a boy too. Guys can have long hair and I’m a trans guy that loves dresses, make up and girly accessories. But I understand not everyone is the same. I also understand the fear of being rejected. If you haven’t come out yet, then just wait until you’re in a stable, safe environment, like living out of home and having a decent income, that means you must be an adult. I get that waiting till then is painfully difficult, but I believe you can get through it. We both can 😁

In the UK you can go privately or through the NHS. NHS doesn't cost anything, apart from if you need to pay for your prescriptions (about £8.40 per time), but the waiting lists are very long. Going privately is much faster but I think it cost me about £500 in appointments to start T, then some people have to pay privately for their prescription, but most GP's will do an NHS prescriptions.

Hey Jam, do you have any tips for how to dress more masculine or appear more physically male as a pre-T guy? I'm trying my best but I still get mistaken a lot.
@Jammidodger8 жыл бұрын
Hey, I think a lot of this comes down to body language and confidence - even if you don't feel confident, acting like you are can really help! In terms of clothes, I would just say wear what you like as that's what you will be most comfortable and confident in - but if you like them, a top that I really liked to wear were ones like this: thumbs3.ebaystatic.com/d/l225/pict/320819272800_1.jpg as they can make your shoulders seems broader.

Corey Kuefler - ter Weeme pssst, word of the wise, not everyone understands (or accepts) all the gender identity mumbo jumbo. Just say you’re a trans tomboy. Much easier to understand. And if you wanna look more masculine, just wear more typically masculine clothing and cologne, get your hair cut masculine (if you haven’t already) and remember to not use hand gestures when talking as often or sit like a lady (legs crossed or knees together). And yes, I do know the gender identity mumbo jumbo. I once thought I was a demi guy too. (I’m not saying you’re confused tho, I accept your identity as yours)

ugh I promised my cishet boyfriend not to go on T to stay with him and for now it really seams worth it but it's so frustrating because I still want it and think about it multiple times a day D:

Then he's not worth it dude, if he made you promise not to take steps towards feeling better about yourself That's pretty unreasonable

Hey Jamie! I have a question! What type of testosterone did you take? Pills? Injections..?
@Jammidodger8 жыл бұрын
Hey, I am on a gel form of Testosterone called Testogel, I used to be on injections though, but switched over because of my levels being too high.
