For what it's worth, I'm a cis gay guy and I used to think I'd never be able to be with a trans guy, mostly cus I was afraid I wouldn't know how to pleasure him. I could see how that was prejudicial, so I decided to educate myself. It's one of the reasons I started watching videos like this. Now, even though I've never been with a trans guy, I know I wouldn't have any problems with it. Either topping or bottoming, it's all about being open to experiment and to communicate.

I've heard from many people that I'm stupid for thinking and acting like this. That the world is messed up and we should just let it be like that. So seeing so many people appreciate and even thank me for just stating my beliefs, it honestly made a bit teary eyed. So...thank you, guys. :)

👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽Thank you!!!👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 on these gay dating apps apparently unless you put it out there(and even though you may, none of them know how to read😒), they assume a transguy always bottoms number 1, wants to bottom from the front hole number 2, is submissive number 3, assumes that you're okay with calling your parts female words number 4, or is still completely ignorant to what a transguy is at all. The worst part is not being accepted as a man, and even worse being turned down when you mention you will be topping essentially with a "toy". I also don't like how cis straight mtf chasers put themselves in the trans tag cause im trying to find other transguys as well. You're lucky you've gotten those chances to top and with guys who seem to accept you and be okay with everything. I have met guys who accept me, but it hasn't gotten passed talking. What's so hard is trying to find someone to date or be in a relationship with cause male culture is just sex sex sex, and gay culture is dick and sex first, then maybe kiss and date.

I found your channel yeeears ago, when I was 14, sitting in the library at school, ditching class because I was so fucking depressed and had no idea why. I just remember bursting into tears, sobbing silently in the corner because I realised, "This is what I am..." when you explained what being trans was, and I did NOT want that. It has been a long long journey, and now having been on testosterone for 3 years, and on the waiting list for top surgery, I've come full circle back to your channel. Honestly, I don't think I would still be alive if it weren't for this channel. I'm back here now, because I was really sick throughout October, and basically asleep or in bed for the majority of the month. So I, uh-- had a lot of time, *ahem* with my body 😆😅 and I had a kind of breakthrough epiphany type moment. It's too much to explain, but basically I've a newfound love and appreciation for my body, and a feeling that maybe I actually *could* be in a relationship with someone. So glad to find your videos helping me through another part of this life journey 😊

I disagree with the statement "everyone is fluid, everyone's a squiggle", because while it is very true that many people do experience fluid or ambiguous sexuality, many people do not. I like men for a certainty, in an unambiguous and unfluid way. I've never not been entirely gay and I don't foresee it changing in the future, (though I conceed that it might). It's perfectly true that fluidity can describe many people's sexuality, but by no means does it describe all people's sexuality.

there are many different studies with different conclusions. There are studies that say everyone is straight. There are studies that say all women are lesbians or bi and all men are straight or gay. The problem is that this issue is very emotional to a lot of people and even scientist tend to be subjective sometimes. You need a great number of studies with the same results and high levels of objectivity and reliability. There are just not any clear results yet, that suggest that everyone is bi. And in my experience it's mainly bisexuals who say that just like it is mainly gay or straight people who think bisexuality isn't real. Probably cause for a lot of people it's diffucult to imagine that someone has a different sexual orientation than they do. I'm a lesbian and I could never imagine being anything else. I believe other people though when they tell me their sexual orientation and I would never pressure anyone to change their sexuality like some trans activists do. @@victorp8689

I kinda get self conscious talking about it but my story is kind of more unique with how things turned out for me. I'm a trans guy (been out for awhile to like every one). But before I realized and eventually came out, I was already in a serious long relationship with my boyfriend for a couple of years (almost three years now total to present). And when I came out to him and everything, he says he loves me and accepts me and is fine with me "being a guy". But he's like still "considered straight" I guess, because I have the female anatomy. So at times I feel insecure because I'm not sure if I'm being read as or really thought of as a guy, because I haven't really changed yet physically since presenting as his "girlfriend". And that he isn't really bisexual or other or whatever and I might be the "acception"? I've told him about my dysphoria, and he's said he'll still love me and be attracted to me once I go on T and get top surgery (the only medical things I wanna do as far as I know). But I always have doubts that he might lose the connections with me once I start to change physically, because the future can be unpredictable. I don't want to force him to call himself a different sexuality, because obviously every individual has the right to label and identify with what they want. I'm just sharing my story. I love him dearly and I don't want to lose him. I don't think he will leave once I start physical changes, because I know he sincerely loves me... but I have the insecurities of being a "disappointment" or not being "enough" or not being sexually attractive to him later on. I might not have to worry so much because in middle school years before we really knew each other he's admitted he was kind of bi-curious but he's said later on he doesn't like dick (cis peen). Which I mean I don't think personally I will get any bottom surgeries in the future, because I don't have much dysphoria in that area, so technically I still have the bottom parts he's attracted to. But then that brings me right back around to not feeling like I'm taken seriously or read as a guy and his boyfriend to him (mostly because in society's eyes I'm not "really" a guy). IDK.... sorry this is so long, I'm basically just ranting about my insecurities.

Hi, I just want to say, I'm in the exact same case than you. I am ftm and dating a cis straight guy, and we are very much in love with each other. He's super accepting and aware of my dysphoria, and he does everything he can to make me feel good about myself, which is super sweet. When we started dating (we were really close friends before), I told him I thought his heterosexuality was going to be a problem. He had to think about it for like, a day, and said to me "fuck it, I love YOU and I want to be with you no matter what." The fact that he's ready to be with a guy and tell his friends and family that he has a boyfriend makes me love him even more :3

Oh hey, I'm in a rather similar situation, as well. I'm also dating a cis straight man, and I identify as nonbinary, transmasculine, and just generally all-around queer. So we were close friends before, then we spent an entire summer basically glued at the hip because all of our friends had moved or were away for school, and we have like the same sense of humor, and yeah. One thing led to another, and at the end of the summer, right before he left for a 6 month internship in the freaking Netherlands (we live in the US so it's rather far, lol) we started dating. Which was confusing for everyone, including us, because I had identified as a gay female for years. And then we started talking more about sex stuff via skype and messaging while he was away, and through all of that he basically helped me figure out that I'm not 100% cisgender. Turns out, I was focusing wayyyy too much on my sexuality, and defining myself based on who I was with/wanted to be with, rather than focusing on myself and who I am as an individual. Anyway, it'll be 3 years this fall, and he's been super supportive, and probably my greatest motivator through all of this. While I still feel insecure sometimes (often, if I'm being honest) because he still technically identifies as straight, we've agreed to be completely honest and open about absolutely everything, which is probably why we've had such a great relationship so far. He's been honest about the fact that he isn't sure, one way or another, if he'll continue being physically attracted to me once I reach or pass (aha, *pass*) a certain point of physical transition. And I've been honest with him about the fact that I'm not sure how far I want or feel the need to physically transition. So we're both still feeling everything out, but we're making sure to do it together. I think that's the best anyone *can* do as a partner. 😊

Ash Crager I understand your fear of not being attractive to him later on and that you love him very much and don't want to loose him. However, I think it is really important that you live your life authentically and that it will bring you the most happiness. Relationships can fall apart for many reasons and if it comes to a point where your maleness becomes a problem for him you guys can still continue on as friends? If you really share such a deep emotional connection that is and that's something that you'd want. Just please do not try and live your life for the sake of others it's something I did for years and am only just now trying to put behind me. It's tough but I've never been happier with myself. Also I'd worry less about society reading you as male (that will come later and you can always be stealth) and more about whether or not he reads you as male.
@f.s.l.23637 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I totally agree with you. Happiness is the most important thing (both for yourself and your partner). I don't want to bring everything back to myself, but one thing I noticed since I started dating my (cis straight) boyfriend is that I surprisingly pass more often. (I mean, you would expect the contrary to happen, right?) I wouldn't know the exact reason why, but maybe because he is shorter than me, or rather masculine, or because we dress the same way... but yeah, that's pretty cool :) Since he is straight, I was kinda worried about his reaction to people reading us as a gay couple, but he couldn't care less, like we are just us and we are happy this way.

I'm dating my first partner with a penis, as a trans man. I have struggled so hard trying to understand why I've felt so inadequate about it. He reassures me I'm great and I satisfy him in more ways then even cis men. It's just a sadness of disconnect that gets me. Maybe one day he will want a "real man" again (as my brain likes to tell me). He has shown nothing but love and devotion so im learning to love myself with him, with a man. Thanks for talking about this seriously

My god mom told me that I am still having lesbian sex until I have surgery. And I was like I have a trans friend and she was like year I know Logan. But you know he's not you're "trans friend" right because he's not all the way trans because he hasn't had any surgeries. And I'm just kinda sitting there like 🤷🏽♂️

I am a cis straight woman, and I forever feel like I have no place in any conversation about sexuality outside of mine because I don't know. However, Chasey-poo, you are doing and expressing something amazing. You are offering information to the public; to someone like me who is pretty frequently in the dark about things outside of my personal spectrum. I think you are an amazing person from what I've seen of you, and you are helping the world, little bits at a time. Thank you for your frankness and your experiences; You're a beautiful human being.

My biggest thing is, is when i say im gay its not because im gay for penis its cause im gay for men. I never cared if they had a penis or not and people get mad at me for saying that or would try and change labels which astonished me. Being that i am a cis gay guy, i found love with a trans guy and we have a very fluid...life (wink) and we just make sure eachother are happy and having fun doing whatever each of us wanna do/try. I think i started rambling, i dont normally post comments but ive been watching a lot more of your videos and my bf loves your videos and its just really just like awesome listening to you talk about all these things.

I've struggled with identifying as a Gay man for as long as I have been out and transitioning because from day one I've been told by everyone that 'being gay really limits the people who will be interested in you'. 'you don't have the junk they want', even 'you're going to be alone forever if you go through with this' and every time I've passed as a man enough to someone I was interested in, the moment I mentioned being trans (cause I'm really open about it) they'd flee. And I even had one guy ask me out and then the next day say 'I can't do this, you have the wrong parts and I don't think I can handle that, ever.' I've never found anyone who would accept me for me through and through, well, who wasn't using me at least. And it's been very difficult for me. It had me question going through with transitioning a couple of times in the first couple of years. Even now I feel like it's a lost cause. But watching this video made me feel a little bit better about the idea. Thank you for making videos like this about problems a lot of guys have and what knowledge you have on the subject.

people that are straight do need to show respect but conversely the lgbtq community needs to recognize that not everybody is sexually fluid. i am wired to only engage in intimate activities with men. i was curious at one point, but then i experinced lesbian sexuality and couldnt do it i am just not wired that way. it would be easier if i could be more fluid because all the men i have been with have been bad news but i am who i am.

You can accept that not everyone is sexually fluid and that not everyone is into trans people while still acknowledging that it's hard and can hurt one's feelings when they're rejected specifically for being trans. I don't think Chase said anything here condemning people for not being into trans men; he just talked about how it was hard for him to be rejected in that way.
