I have the Corsa with the black tips. It seems like the AWE in that it has no drone and is chill when you're cruising, but it really kicks in once you start to mash the pedal. Got it used on offerup for $500 with supposedly like 2k miles so I'm happy with it.

i absolutely love my awe it was just the best sounding exhaust when i was shopping for one, just how open and aggressive it makes the car sound is what did it for me

I have a Borla S type cat back on my 2022 GR 86. I chose it because it’s a very sweet mellow and deep sound and not obnoxious even at full throttle and great while cruising in sixth gear meaning no drone yet a very sporty mellow sound when accelerating.

The AWE is an amazing exhaust! However, your neighbors will hate you when you cold start it.....You can literally hear it blocks away...

i put the awe touring on my 2017 brz and it sounds pretty similar to the newer gen brz which i love, the cold start is loud asf in 20° weather though 😬

The super loud exhausts like the N1 scream to me "I bought this with the allowance money my mommy gave me". I really like my Remark|FT86 exhaust and the FT86 UELs.

The new Borla exhaust claims 0 drone at any speed & rpm. Should be released in a couple short months. Idk if it’s any quieter than AWE tho. Or try the JDL axleback or catback too.

Just got a new 23 GR86 and been looking for just the right exhaust for it and I believe that awe exhaust might be the one but it says it only for 2022 wondering if it would still fit the 23 I think so right ??

Our FT-86 UEL header fits 1st and 2nd gen just fine so I imagine it should. No better way to find out than to test if you've got it!

I had the AWE touring too loud for me , no drone but inside the car it’s annoying . Also it takes away from any induction sound , which I prefer . I’d disagree with the review that’s it’s only loud when you want it , it’s loud all the time .
