@@DesertRatFabrication the quality on these new filters is pretty good and the price is really good. Looking forward to using these on more projects! Thanks man!

Looks great, similar to the way I did the one I mounted to the frame rail on my square body. I used the thumb screw dudes though.

@@Red9GearHeads this is just temporary so I’ll have a little easier access while I do some filter testing for a future video. Frame mounted is where mine were/will be once it’s done. Lots of room in the truck frame rials for sure!

@andrewforster4974 the stock one in this truck was well worn. Poor old farm truck. Sounds like someone took care of yours! I would have rather kept it completely stock, but fell into the same trap I always do. Build a new one!

Thanks again for another great video MCS. Hey shot in the dark but my Edelbrock AVS2 650 is dripping fuel from two spots on the passenger side of the carb. Car runs and performs perfect otherwise. Any ideas?

About your fuel line setup with the regulator and gauge, do you anchor it to the manifold, or does the banjo fitting hold all the weight?

@@louismaccubbin not necessary for this Frankenstein set up. Time will tell if I need to add any support. About 1000 ish miles on and no issues so far.

@@MuscleCarSolutions How do you keep your gauge from fluctuating? Ours is jerking like crazy, it's impossible to read.

how do you empty it for changes? will it drain back to tank if you open one side?
@MuscleCarSolutions3 ай бұрын
@@lasskinn474 tank is slightly above the filter. On this generation truck, the tank is in the cab, behind the seat. I have a fuel cut off that I installed on the frame rail to manually shut it off.

I'd be curious to know what kind of "filter testing" you are going to do.

I don’t know a thing about these new Russell filters. I did a pressure drop test and the results were amazing. Now we’ll see how well it is as a filter! If it does well there, it will now be my go to.
