Fuel Mileage: Towing with a Ford F350 Tremor

Took at trip from Arkansas to New Orleans and measured the fuel mileage. All flat land with speeds from 60-65.

This is a different camper. I Sold the old one and let the Gen Y got with it.

@@whateverfits1978 since you didn’t get another for your new camper I’m guessing you think there are better options out there. lol. I have a b&w companion slider on my 2023 Ram 3500 6’4” bed. I want to get by bed space back but don’t want to sacrifice quality or safety.

​@@ekeltek My new one came with an Andersen and I really like it, but to answer your question, for the cost of the Gen Y it wouldn't make sense for me. You can find used Andersens all over Facebook for a few hundred. Gen Ys are harder to find used and new they are expensive. When I bought my Gen Y, I got it of Amazon for like $700. They are at least double now. I didn't do the reesegoosebox because I didn't want to mess with the airbag. If I had to buy one today, I'd probably get then Andersen again. I should have a quick video on the Andersen on my channel as well.
