Lake thanks for this outstanding video. I believe for a lot of builders and machinists the tools being recommended like TraceBoss and Angle View will provide the opportunity to better visualize what is being accomplished during the honing/finishing process. There is no doubt that using a profilometer can be a game changer, however; I believe these most recent series of tools will allow more users to better understand, practice and develop their goals and achieve their results repeatbly. Furthermore I believe it will assist in allowing older equipment operators the opportunity to participate in these processes through improved visability of the effects of their efforts. Well done by you and your Team!

How much of the lost power after a 500 mile race is due to weakened valve springs?

Considering that some teams ran valve springs twice, the power difference was mainly due to cylinder bore and ring wear.
