After Day 1, a Taste of FUEL..am def bringing out the Big Towel, bottle of water and Mop 😆. Day 2 Bring it! Let's have FUN! 👊 Btw..Woke up to a Sore Bum. Also, loved reading how everyone got on with Day 1. Day 2 Smashed and Add-on 15min. Tucked Abs. Went by quickly. Clusters were brilliant. It helped to push through knowing it's 20secs. each. I love that I can continue with Caroline from series to series- without taking a long break to change it up to offer my body different movement. She somehow tweaks the routines just enough that my body feels challenged in new ways every series! Thank goodness because this really is my favorite way to move my body. I do take 2 weeks off in between to love on my body with walks, runs, yoga, stretching, rest… and then I’m ready for more! My glutes and legs are really feeling it from yesterday!!! Looking forward to upper body and a short run after today.

Fellow Girvanators, whereas I felt so comfortable and accomplished with IRON, FUEL day 1 felt very challenging for me. I figured it must have been the different ways of energy being expanded and one’s body would have to get used to it. Like CG said, there is no fun without challenging one’s body. I’m ready to embark on day 2 of the journey tomorrow afternoon (5 hours behind BST)! 🙌🏼💪🏼😅

Morning Connie...I agree...fuel is definitely going to be a very challenging series...but as you say there’s no fun or sense of accomplishment without a challenge! It’s the mix of cardio and strength training that makes it hard...actually I’m loving it...just the way I like to train! I’m sure you’ll love today’s session when you get into it! Push through the non stop circuits and the time will fly! I thought it was just superb! I also found yesterday a challenge ! I had restarted IRON for the last couple of weeks and upped my weights; I realised yesterday that I may need to knock these down a KG or two for FUEL...not because I have become 'weaker' but because this series is different. Personally full body with more cardio has always been something I have enjoyed, as I think our hearts are our most important muscle. I know CG always encouraged us to add cardio in, however as a full time working mum I struggle to do CG workout and cardio too; so whilst this is very challenging I think we are all going to see some great results from it.

Yes, my legs are feeling it today but after today's session I have no doubt that the same will happen with my upper body. What a fun upper body torcher... I am excited for more cluster sets, they are so refreshing, they spike your heart rate up and when you have two more sets to finish you really feel you muscles fatiqued already. The finisher was 🔥 last set of cobra push ups was challenging, especially when you are out of breath. My triceps were definetely fried😅

I so much agree with what you say! Caroline is just so brilliantly creative! Today’s workout was so superb...the non stop circuits then clusters were so well thought out to push up the heart rate and make the workout hard but fun! I just loved it! I absolutely loved this workout! I was curious to see what a "dynamic" FUEL upper body would look like.... Wow! OMG! my HR went up a lot.... Almost as if I had done a leg session! I used 17.5 /8/4 Kg.... Thumbs up for the cluster formula!!!! Fun and extremely challenging... Fantastic, really fantastic... And we are only on the second day! Great Caroline!

Great tip actually! Yes after a cardio exercise I am completely in a different state... so lifting becomes so much harder! It’s challenging your aerobic fitness and the capacity of your body to transport oxygen and transfer oxygen from haemoglobin in the blood to myoglobin in the muscle! Hi Elise...you are so correct about the cluster sets! You think 20 sec is easy but by the sixth round it is so tough! Tricep push ups with dips afterwards almost defeated me...but not quite! Wow! Caroline - this new Fuel program is challenging the whole body system yet again!! Not going to lie, that was certainly a tough work out! Used 10kg, 20.5kg and 5kg. My goodness when I hit the floor on the finishing chest to floor sprawl, my shoulders were shaaking!! I love how this is taking us out of our comfort zone and tricking our bodies!! Day 2 repeat of Fuel. OMG I don't know why i love doing this program. Maybe because it so different!! I used 22.5kg, 10kg, 8kg and 5kg. had to drop to 8kg for the shoulder push press as have a niggling shoulder. Hello and good morning everyone. Hope you have a wonderful day ahead! As far as fuel day 1 is concerned, I loved it. The music was so uplifting and fun that made you forget about the pain. The exercises were also perfect the way you put them with a little cardio in it. The coulors were also very calm and aesthetic. Abou the finisher O-M-G it burnttt🔥. Overall it was a great start to this new program. Can't wait for smashing with you Caroline and Girvanators day 2 even if we are sore from yesterday. P.S Thank you very much Caroline for all your dedication and creativeness you put in all the workouts in your own unique way. Absolute perfection!!!!❤

I like this series. Fuel's mix up of weights plus cardio makes the time fly. Knowing each exercise in the circuit will last only 20 seconds gives me the incentive to hang on. I'm not sure if it's called choreography but our coach is a creative genius! Thank you Caroline for a tough, fun workout. Enjoy Girvanators!

So I've been working out alongside this community since Epic II and never commented but I just want to say that format was excellent for me! I just love all the workouts, I mean I hate glute day and think I always will but Caroline you get me actually doing them and I'm seeing amazing results!! I've been really struggling the past month as I'm doing keto for a holiday so have had to drop my weights slightly BUT prior to that I'd increased by 7kg on legs and 6kg for upper which I'm amazed by! I love to read all the comments such a great community. I managed full press ups for ALL the sets today is already won 🏆

I really am enjoying Fuel and know I will also enjoy the rest of the series.. I fully trust what Caroline is doing.. I've been doing Caroline's workouts since July 2020..every day and taking my rest days as she recommends. The only time I stopped was for 4 weeks when I had Covid. Thank you so much Caroline.. looking forward to training with you every day. I have also learnt that every workout will be a challenge and we grow from those challenges. And if something doesn't suit someone.. There are so many other programs to choose from. Please just keep on doing what you do.. I am forever grateful! X

That was brutal!! But I got it done. Had to modify a few things with my shoulders not liking too many push ups and wrists getting sore in the dips. Swapped some for chest press and kickbacks. Thanks heaps, this is going to be a challenging series!! ❤️

That seemed to go by really fast! Love this FUEL series…..it’s like weight training with cardio mixed in all together. And I like those cluster sets because it gives me a chance to do better each time if I felt like the last set I didn’t have as good a form. Even though I didn’t go as fast as Caroline did, I went at my own pace knowing I’m pushing and still making progress with my strength. I know I’ll be sore tomorrow, such a great feeling 💪

Did Fuel day 1 and 2. I can run 10-12kms 5 times a week but fuel day-1 felt like my body would evaporate from burning muscles. Did day-2, it felt very challenging but was much more manageable. Insane content Caroline Girvan. Thanks a lot :D

@@matthewalmond8274 hello, yes I always add some workouts after 1, but it depends how intense or challenging that workouts is...And also I'm listening on my body, but majority of my daily workouts I do 1 or 2 or even 3 as long I sleep 8hours a day and eating properly to fuel again my energy.

Wow, what an arm workout that was today. By the time it came to lateral Roses I was down to 2 kg in each hand. Super challenging, after yesterday’s legs. It’s very uncomfortable to walk today, I imagine tomorrow will be very comfortable to use my arms as well. Great work out thanks Caroline

You’re not alone Gabriela!! Just do them on your knees if you can, or even try standing and pushing up against a wall! Eventually you will build strength. Any little bit of effort counts!

I am a beginner and can't do full push up I did knee push ups and enjoyed the workout throughout I hope may be we are able to 2 full push ups after 6 weeks so no worries keep going

Loving this method Caroline! It's actually a great way to get used to HIIT for those who don't like the longer versions of HIIT or just don't like it at all. Myself included. I would put just enough effort into the original HIIT workouts just so I can get through it and say that I did it! LOL But I'm really liking these shorter bursts....I feel like I can put alot more effort into it and push myself harder. I can tell because of all the sweat dripping off of me as I'm typing this! CHEERS!
