Sounds like the same type of instrument played in Hedningarna's "Grodan/Widergrenen"

Hi! Indeed. What Anders plays on that Hedningarna song is a typical Scandinavian sallow flute known as seljefløyte in Norwegian or sälgpipa in Swedish. The Fujara has a similar MO: the player blows harmonics out of the instrument, with two possibilities: open and closed (look at my right hand) and with help of air pressure the notes can go lower or higher in the scale, as the player visits the different harmonic plateaux there are. A magical instrument :)

Sergio Ribnikov Gunnarsson Thanks Sergio for the education. It has that earthy tonal quality, unlike a traditional flute, where note changes are not as blended.
