@cecelia74433 жыл бұрын
I know people are thrilled about the grip on this camera. Being a left handed person, I hope if an updated model is released then my preference is an attachable handgrip instead of built in. Built in grip is fine for people who are right handed but sometimes as a lefty it gets frustrating trying to adapt.

My gateway drug to Fuji was the X-T10 and I happily upgraded to the X-T30. If I were starting now it would be a hard decision. I do prefer the dials that I guess are now considered "retro" but IBIS and price are really hard to ignore.

Finally...a real grip. Yes, I know the X-H1 had one, but still...I'd hope for more of that in the future. Although it doesn't matter for me anymore. Gave up on Fuji after the X-T4 experiment that didn't go so well for me. That being said, the X-Z10 would be more appealing to me than the X-T4.
@budthecyborg45754 жыл бұрын
I would be disappointed if any Fuji camera from here on doesn't use this format of grip (basically using the battery as the minimum size of the grip). Flat grip cameras never made sense unless you have a 10mm thick Pancake lens.
@ibarrabenjamin14 жыл бұрын
The PASM dial makes much more sense for videographers. The Custom Memories are a blessing for photographers. I really would like to see a size comparison with XT4 or XT3.
@NoahBuehler3 жыл бұрын
Please no I hate to use these dials, mainly because I would leave it in M anyway and change exposure manually, and then it is just so useful to have the SS and ISO dials, especially if you wear Gloves while it's freezing cold outside. (I reugularely shoot in temps like -10 to -20 degrees celsius so that really matters to me.) It might be a thing that other People don't like, but just setting which Variables are controlled automaticly and which ones you set manually makes much more sonse on a XT4 style body for me. especially if you have a lens with Aperture ring.
@budthecyborg45754 жыл бұрын
The customize-ability of the three dials is an interesting prospect, a lot of the time I would prefer to have ISO on my main rear right dial and not exposure compensation. The problem is you can't set your exposure just by looking at the top of the camera. The advantage of Fuji's classic design is being able to just wander around, see your subject, flip a few dials and nail the exposure without spending two minutes squinting into the EVF (or trying fruitlessly to use LCD on a sunny day).
@DonNormantico4 жыл бұрын
Agreed. A simple rear right dial is a deal breaker.
@cohoonatube4 жыл бұрын
Excellent video, thanks! The S-10 is a brilliant move on Fuji's part. The customization options for the dials I find far more attractive than the retro-appeal of the normal tactile Fuji dial experience. I would also have preferred a larger battery, 2 SD card slot and weather sealing, but Fuji needs to differentiate with the XH2 probably in the oven. This camera may have the feature set and price-point that many on the sidelines might need to get in the game. Still on the fence between Fuji and Sony (A used A7RIII & Tamron 28-200 is such a phenomenal package for the $$$). Thanks again!

I like your KZbin reviews. I've been using m43 since the first E-M5 came out. I wanted something relatively small and light for travel and general day-to-day companionship. I'm also getting to be kind of an old codger who's ability to be steady when hand holding is not what it once was. So the IBIS has been a real plus for me. At this point I'm not at all sure we'll ever see a smallish m43 body with any significant upgrades. I'm not in a hurry to jump ship, but the X-S10 checks a whole lot of boxes for me.

Actually lack of ibis and not fully articulating screen are what have kept me from running out to buy the xt30. The xs10 looks like a good alternate choice but I admit one of the things I really like about the xt30 is the quick access dials on top. The xt4 is my first choice but it’s out of my price range. My current Sony is menu based and I find myself missing shots because I was busy going through the menu to make setting changes.

I like your photos as usual. I think X-S10 is reasonable for many users especially one who films videos. However, by using X-A and X-T cameras for a few years, I feel that X-T is heavy and I rarely use EVF. X-S10 is even chunkier than and heavier than X-T100. So I suppose my next camera will one from X-A series.
@mcmosaic4 жыл бұрын
I wish they kept at least the shutter speed dial...It seems to be a good mix of the lower and higher priced models. Not everyone needs to have a hybrid powerhouse like the X-T4 and will be happy with the X-T30 instead, if they also want to shoot short video clips now and then. For me the X-S10 offers: IBIS, lightweight/smaller size, all the current film simulation.

When you consider the amazing sensor in those Fuji cams the Lumix G9 doesn't look good at all.

This is the problem nowadays. Companies are telling us that $1,300 is 'affordable'. To put it in perspective, my first DSLR (a Nikon D70s + 18-70 lens) cost me about £550 back in 2007. And since then Nikon and Canon have offered truly affordable camera bodies/lenses such as the Nikon D3xxx line and Canon's 1000, 2000 & even 4000 line.
@WASD4534 жыл бұрын
@@koolkutz7 I literally started with a Nikon D5200 with 18-55 , and it cost me new like 411€ where i live in Canary Islands, and i think that is not cheap... This fuji meant for "beginners" (beginner camera i suppose like Canon 1200D, Nikon D3200... that really are great cameras) costs like the Sony A7II that i buy a few months ago, with kit lens and the 50mm FE... dont understand the "budget", all the technology are getting more expensive over time, also better but as i said, expensive...
