Fujifilm X-T2 mechanical shutter problem (overexposure)

Same problem here, only in my case its the shots taken outside/streetshots that are really overexposed. Shooting outside MS: Overexposed Shooting outside ES: nothing wrong. Whereas shooting inside there isnt really an issue. So im not sure if its the mechanical shutter or maybe i gotta change some settings?

I also had this problem only outdoor. The reason is because the MS exposure is fine below ~1/125s, and I was almost always shooting at slower exposure times indoor (1/40 to 1/80s...). I actually discovered the issue on a sunny day, when I shot correctly exposed photos on 1/8000s f/5.6 ISO200... Technically, at these slower exposure times, the front curtain has to go fully down before the back one moves, letting the whole sensor opened during the desired time. So the front curtain problem has almost no impact, as opposed to faster exposures where the front and back curtains goes down at almost the same time and very close together.

I did not take the time nor the money to fix. However, someone on a forum having the same issue managed to fix it by sending it to Fuji for a shutter replacement, for 180£ in UK. I am adding the link of the post to the description... If you want to fix it by yourself, and you are brave enough to dismount it, then maybe it is just the curtains, or its lamellas, that are just stuck, and it could be possible to unstick them by hand. It is just an assumption; I don't know very much how it works. Otherwise, you would need to buy a new shutter unit...
