Hey Joelle! I just bought a quality roller for my home gym because there is such a big spash about the benefits gained from these. YOU are my crash course instructor and I will definitely say with full confidence, your flow is a perfect guideline for my needs. Amazon! There's lots of different kinds that are quite affordable, I'd recommend one without the "teeth" if you're starting out as they can be quite intense! 😉

I've got a 10-minute class here as well in case you haven't tried it yet: kzbin.info/www/bejne/sKeZhIZpi5iBkNU And a styrofoam roller tends to work well, there are different variations of firmness that can create differing levels of intensity (the "toughest" ones are usually the ones with "teeth"). Personally I like a medium firmness, so it sounds like yours and mine may be similar!

This was my first experience with a foam roller. It's a rather hard one and I found it to be if not quite painful, definitely uncomfortable. Not something I would want to do regularly. The class was really good and I am considering doing it with a wheel instead.
