Thank you for doing an honest review. I haven’t seen many reviews for this product on KZbin (expect from one guy). I appreciate your completely honest review. I've seen so much about this smart hoop and was debating whether to give it a shot. I watched a couple videos before yours and wasn't impressed by the people doing them, they'd give up. To see a woman already in great shape but still trying this out to give an honest review is truly helpful and I thank you. I've let myself go after being a runner for years, one injury and I just gave up. I have back issues so getting on the floor to do ab stuff is tough. I liked the idea of this being a start for me, a jumping off point if you will. I need to get back into shape and need to strengthen my core to ease my back issues. This looks like it may help, it'll be work but the good stuff always is. Thanks again.

I purchased one that was on clearance w/o an adjustable ball strap or latch. I thought ti watch KZbin for reviews and more of a tutorial on how to use it. I have one that does not have the sticking out things. It is relatively smooth, it has to be jointed to allow for fit, so perhaps look for one of these. Mine was cheaper than the ‘massage’ ones and I’m really thrilled with it. Have been using it for two days, takes practice to get the hang of it, but I can feel my core muscles have had a work out (through my fat tummy !) got mine from eBay was under £12.00

Once i got kinda used to it, i started squatting down a bit to make it a bit more like a work-out. Those thighs burn 🤣🤣 If you like dancing(mostly belly dancing), i do this tap and lift step that they do with one foot forward and you simply just lift up a bit and tap and it makes it more fun!

Just did my first one, I only did 5 minutes a side and I’m pooped 😂 I found fitted clothes works best for this, and keep your arms up high because if the rope even grazes you it loses momentum. I had a good rhythm going at the end but will definitely have to build up time wise.

it will stay if u keep up with the momentum of the ball going around..to do that, for me anyway, it helps to have string shorter and im able to keep the momentum easier..when string is longer it takes a bit more strength and coordination for me so i keep it short

Do you think it'd help in the long run?

If you wear clothing, you will feel the difference in the massage pad. Make sure your shirt or high waisted workout pants are snug fitting. Loose clothing can get pinched and tangled. I would not recommend bare waisted hooping. Yes it can pinch. Also, be careful when picking your hoop up. Try to avoid the inside of it by grasping the outside. Otherwise, yes, it can pinch your fingers.
