Chris you are such a bodybuilding icon! I have been following you for two years already, and you are the reason I started my fitness journey. These workout videos were inspiring to me. I gave my best and trained hard for years, but I was hardly getting any muscle, only to find out that my diet was nowhere near as it should’ve been. I have always eaten ‘just enough’ thinking it would be sufficient. My first real diet plan taught me the lesson. I remember getting it from Next Level Diet, but somehow it helped me gain a few pounds in my first month of using it. Surely it wasn’t all pure muscle, but I was happier than ever. Thanks Chris for everything, I wish you lot of success in your career!!

I’m just amazed on these statements that Chris and Courtney make when it comes to health and digestion. First Chris talks about eating too much of the same food causes gut issues, no study to support that, and then Courtney states that water impairs digestion, studies say the exact opposite. You two have to be careful on what you state as fact. The kids following you take everything at face value. They don’t all follow people like Layne Norton Eric Helms, Greg Nuckols and Eric Trexler.
@wombat52522 жыл бұрын
About the food issue: It could just be that he was lacking fiber for example and that could be why he wasn't feeling as great. There are so many factors and if you're following any bodybuilder to the T, then it's YOUR fault for taking everything at ''face value''.

Water affects the ph level of your stomach. It doesn’t disrupt digestion. Only slows it down. If you need to get 6 meals down in a day. You want fast digestion. So rule of thumb is no water 20 mins before or after a meal. But in between meals plenty of water for your intensities no so much the stomach with all the acid.
