One thing to consider with the grip is that some people use grip strength as a measure of total body recovery, similar to using HRV to know how recovered you are. So I’d be interested to know what your HRV chart looked like going into this workout.😊

Had one of those sessions last week where I performed way under what I thought I would! The joys of hybrid training haha, I really love and appreciate that fact that you don’t hide your failures, it makes you so seem so much more genuine and real then most KZbinrs! Everyone has off days just Keep crushing it Fergus!

I will forever love your videos and mindset. Finally got back into training seriously last May, tore my calf in August 3 weeks before a half marathon (last long training run, was on pace for a sub 1h30!) Almost a year later I'm just under 2 weeks out from a half, again, and hoping to finally get that sub 1h30. Actively looking into swimming lessons and starting cycling too to really focus on a Hybrid training cycle and work towards a Triathlon. Currently scouring the internet and spotify before every long run to find more content of yours to listen to!

Great to see an off day. It's easy to get sucked into the goggins-esque "discipline" worship. Good to see balance

I share my perspective on exactly that in the 4x4x96 video 👀 (spoiler: I agree)

Will you be doing the Dinnies as well as competing at the Dinnie Games? As think the Dinnies isn’t one of the events! Killer if you’re doing both!

Has anyone got any advice for a tall "athlete" who suffers from a stiff lower back from their training?
