Full Diff Lock on Quadrunner LT4WD 250

An example of using the Quadrunner's true diff lock 4WD to get out of slippery situations. Suzuki offered true diff locks since 1987, the others took awhile to catch up, Honda only very recently.

Loved my old quadrunner 300, it was so fun and nimble and playing with the gears and diffs was a lot of fun. It had a very mechanical feeling to it.

I took the pin out that makes you have to have it in super low for it to go in diff lock. In high its unuseable but low and 1st gear is prefect for mud

Świetnie sprawdza się na technicznych szlakach, ponieważ jest tak nisko nastawiony. Możesz powoli czołgać się przez praktycznie KAŻDĄ przeszkodę! Twoje zdrowie! ( It works great for technical trails because it is geared so low. You can slowly crawl over practically ANY obstacle! Cheers! )

I told her to put the sub-tranny in super-low, which is a VERY small gear ratio. 1st gear in superlow is only used for towing very large loads, it barely moves lol. 3rd gear in superlow is still slower than 1st gear in low. 5th gear in superlow is still slower than 1st gear in high!

Honda introduced the diff lock feature in the Foreman 2014, so I bought the 2015 model. Honda copy the lever on the handlebar for Suzuki King Quad 500 and 750. but I prefer the Foreman because it has the straight rear axle and conventional speed transmission (no belt), better for working and hauling heavy load. kzbin.info/www/bejne/hKSnfGmngbWaptk

+Lac Bowker I agree! I was so excited when Honda finally started offering diff lock, I'm going to grab a used one in a few years you will have to keep me posted about how you like yours after a year or two of hard work :)

+Mtec yeppers, went with 25x8-11 front and 26x11-12 rear. I'd be surprised if you could go any bigger without making modifications.
