Gralic scapes are one of my all time favorites. I tell everyone that scapes are to garlic like scallions are to onions. Milder and yet just as delicious. They are amazing pickled, great in stews and soups, infuse oils perfectly and I also cut into strips and freeze for future use.

Puppy pile!!!!! It's the best place in the world. Your garden is a magical place and so big. At least you have many hands to help with the harvest that is coming. I also had a bad pea harvest but I thought that was just my being new to gardening and growing peas. I know what the chicken is for...….. but I'm not telling.

Oh my WORD!!!! Those pups are PRECIOUS!!! I want a GP so bad. I have since I was a child but I simply can’t afford them. I mean I could take care of them I just can’t purchase them because they’re so valuable to the seller. So if you’ll give them extra kisses and cuddles for me I’d be grateful. Such precious little sweeties. I can’t wait for the story of why the Cornish cross is snuggled in. It’s super sweet though. Your garden is looking lovely. I just harvested my first garlic ever! I got 25 beautiful heads! I’m so tickled! One of my favorite “country girl” meals is a beautiful baked honey ham, collard greens simmered a few hours with some ham hocks, a little garlic and onion powder and salt and pepper to taste, homemade baked Mac and cheese, corn bread and maybe some fresh slicer tomatoes! It’s actually one of my girls favorite Sunday dinners from their childhood. If they hear moms cooking collards or cabbage they come running! LOL Your first flower with the beautiful blue tip centers is a Birds Eye Gilia I’m pretty certain. It’s a member of the phlox family. The one by your clematis is a mallow I think. That family anyway. Good grief the mosquitoes are insane still!!! They were trying to eat you alive little nasty buggers. Well sweet friend I hope you’re having a wonderful day and that you have an amazing & safe trip. Give everyone big hugs from me. God Bless you all ~Lisa Ps...see if you can find an app called “PictureThis.” It’s free and pretty good at plant identification. Love 💕 and hugs 🤗

Your first flower is a basic hibiscus. I have one the size of a bush. I have to spray mine to keep Japanese beetles off. But the flowers will open up and be really pretty! You can also keep it cut in to a bush or more like a tree. They can get 5' ft around if left to grow. 😀

💖💖💖 Your gardens are STUPENDOUS! *_Congrats_* on the honeybees! Baby birds!! PUPPIES (or did Maple have polar bear cubs 😉) !!! I think the flowers at 13:00 are either an _Althaea_ (mallow, though it is very dark for _Althaea officinalis_ or marshmallow), its cousin _Malva_ (common mallow) or their cousin _Hibiscus syriacus_ (rose of Sharon, though it is missing the rose colored center). Whatever it is, I'm almost positive it's a Malvaceae, of which hollyhock _(Alcea)_ is also a member. (I'm a tiny bit jealous that your collards are so happy; I think it's too cool for them at my place.)
