Full Motorcycle Vinyl Wrap | CBR1000rr

This is my first time doing a vinyl wrap for somebody else, so I put in extra effort to make sure it came out as clean as possible. The colors used are Avery Dennison Mystery Black Metallic (5×10') and KPMF Gloss Imperial Orchid (5x5'). I'm shocked that these colors were available as most of the best looking films are sold out. Wrapping a motorcycle is not easy, but they sure do look nice lol.

@@Master_Yoshi well if you do , the CBR 1000 is shorter and more flickable like a 600 then any other litre bike I don't feel much difference in power between the 600 and 1000. I just got a 2021 r1 and still have my CBR 600 and was shocked how little difference there is . The r1 is nicer to ride because of quickshift and autoblipper on it from factory but it's heavier and taller . Also I absolutely hate ride by wire throttle. The ecu controls the throttle not you!! I love my 600rr because I control the full cable throttle and it's way more responsive and a better feel then the r1 . Those are my first thoughts since buying the r1 .

@@Master_Yoshi honestly its a tough decision man. I love the cable throttle because you control the full power of the engine not the damn ecu but autoblipper does make it worth it to change to ride by wire throttle

@@Master_Yoshi i have both an 08 cbr1000rr and 600rr and theyre nearly identical except for i enjoy giving the 600 everything it has much more than i could ever imagine doing so with the 1k. The 1k also prefers to run 95-100+ and the 600 doesnt make you want to get a ticket quite as bad.

Vinyl usually comes in 5 foot rolls, I bought a 5x10foot roll of the blakc and 5*5 of the purple

Was the 50 hours entirely in the wrapping or was much of the time in disassembly and reassembly of the motorcycle?

50 hours included washing, disassembly, and reassembly.most of the time was definitely spent wrapping, probably 46 hours at least

Where do you get the wrap at? My frame is apple red but I won’t get it to match. My plastic is white the fenders, side plates, and gas tank so I need advice from you. Should I try to paint them or wrap? The gas tank decals bubbled up so I think it was because of the gas. Advice? 😮

I buy wrap from Metrorestyling .com. It depends on if u want something permanent, or if you'll switch up the look often. Personally, I believe it's easier to achieve a high quality finish with wrap, cause you don't need a spray gun, and as clean of an area as you would with paint.

If I was a beginner doing it for the first time I would’ve charged 700 because most shops won’t do motorcycles an the shops that do their pricing anywhere from 750 to 2500.
