In Olympics opening ceremony history, the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics opening is a singular moment of zenith. Unprecedented and watermarked in our collective mind. Director Zhang Yimou and his team brilliantly showcased 5000 years of Chinese civilization in a 4 hours plus of glorious richness. The audio-visual artistry and human excellence is hard to be matched. Ever! It was many moments of wizardry in technology know-how and expertise. Truly magical, and makes us viewers in total awe !!!

The 2008 ceremony had everything : badass moments like the drums part, cute moments with children, traditional representations to introduce china's diverse cultures and ethnicities to the world, futuristic representations, we saw what's best from the chinese people's past, present, nothing to be ashamed of... Unlike what Paris opening ceremony showed us...

Not offending others and showing yourself is self-cultivation. China has always been like this, just trying its best to do its own thing, neither invading or colonizing other countries, nor interfering in other countries' internal affairs. However, the Western mainstream media has always been full of malice towards China and has always demonized China.

The 2008 Beijing Olympics opening ceremony is the best ever. This unparalleled spectacle combined breathtaking artistry, technological innovation, and flawless execution to create an unforgettable experience. The ceremony showcased China's rich 5000 years history and cultural heritage through stunning performances, intricate choreography, and cutting-edge visual effects. It will be memorized forever, and reviewed by many every four years.
As a Chinese, it brings tears to my eyes every time I watch it. It would be nice if this video had subtitles, so that people all over the world can more easily access our culture and understand the peace, friendship and common destiny that the opening ceremony is trying to express.

I mean... to be fair , it’s impossible to defeat China in term of history since it’s has so many rich history that many country don’t have. In fact, ancient China is so power that even Korean and Japanese are still using Chinese character 汉字 (even Korean are try very hard to get rid of Chinese letters for decade). I have my confident in India , simply because they’re also one of the e earliest civilizations that still exist today

We haven’t seen Tokyo’s yet there is a high chance they won’t beat this outstanding performance but there’s also a chance they could because of probably the Olympic flame 🔥 ( lm just predicting here btw) because l feel like Japan ‘s olympic flame is going to bit more cooler than China’s ( no offence to China 🇨🇳) so we are going to have to wait and see if Japan can beat China
