From Canada, went to school in Helensburgh through the forties, left in '51. Congratulations to all involved, a great job. Makes me want to come back for a visit.

I remember doing this at Victoria Halls and it was a fabulous experience! I told Phil I would love to get more involved in the Heroes project! Let's get more done! this was incredible! AND the late great Bowie loved it too ... what more is there?

ripper497 This was just mainly locals who volunteered after Helensburgh Heroes asked for volunteers over social media end in local press and via many outlets ... it could have been better supported but what a fantastic day it was. Then at the launch of the CD and DVD on a screening of a movie at Victoria Halls we received a personal message of praise from none other than David Bowie!! Look up Helensburgh Heroes ... get involved
