How expansive is that drug test that they give? I thought those cheap mass sold ones that companies that test in large batches only test for 5 to 10 things. I guess what I'm asking is, how certain are they that she was not on some medication that could account for the "confusion". I mean I've taken anti depressants and mood stabilizers prescribed by doctors and used as prescribed that have messed with my ability to think and function. Not only that, but since when is lethal force THE FIRST STEP in a non-violent, unarmed encounter, regardless of where it takes place? I would think a non-racist, non-cowardly cop would perhaps ask a few questions to understand the situation before deciding what the proper procedure would be. It's certainly not drawing a gun and pulling the trigger first, since the victim was unarmed, and non-violent. I'm just wondering if this cop became so conditioned to using lethal force as a first step on a black man, since police all over the country seem to do so with impunity once they use the "coward's defense." MrHandas Drugs are still illegal there correct? I am not sure if you've ever been anywhere else in the country but that's happening all over. You can't keep people from getting drugs. You just can't. We spend 40 billion dollars every year to prevent people from getting substances and yet they can still get drugs. Why through money down the drain when you could use that money to open up more treatment facilities and actually help drug addicts. Plus, we have the largest prison population in the world. We could cut into that by legalizing drugs and again saving money for projects that actually benefit everyone. If drugs were regulated then we could dramatically reduce overdoses because people would know what exactly they are taking. Truthfully, there are no good reasons to continue to fight this losing battle and there is​ an abundance of reasons to end it!

I have to go to Chinatown if I want to find a lunch place that doesn't use all gourmet ingredients and costs less than $15 for a sandwich. By the way, San Francisco is caring for these homeless people, but they didn't come from San Francisco. Nevada closed down their mental hospitals and sent the patients to SF because the climate meant they wouldn't freeze to death in winter and the people are generous enough for them to survive, which they do. Those "druggies overdosing and shitting themselves" are from states that don't take care of them. Rather than let them die, SF helps them with our own tax money and charitable donations. SF is rich and picking up your slack and you have the nerve to bitch about it and tell people SF is a bad example.

There are no more "bipartisan" problems if there ever was. The Democrat party is just interested in power, not the health of the country. They will only work to solve these problems if it means increasing their power base. Otherwise, they couldn't care less. This might actually have always been true. Every national sin that I can think of is in fact, not a national sin so much as a sin of the Democrat party. For example, after the Democrat party led the country into a civil war (and lost) it still opposed the resulting civil rights legislation and supported Jim Crow laws, the KKK and other racist policies that really hurt the country until 100 years later, when in the 1960's it then served their party's interests to do it. They branded themselves as the champions of civil rights, which really meant now they had a new form of inner city plantation, and all in order to take advantage of the social disorder then happening across the country for their own party's gain. O'rourke had three, maybe four, solid points, the rest was illogical, platitudes, inconsistencies, anecdotes, and catch phrases. Cruz had four or five answers that were off topic, but overall was direct, prescriptive, logical, and consistent. Even the moderators raised several questions that were pretty damaging to O'Rourke's positions or representation of Texans, to which he simply denied and rarely presented a rebuttal. They really didn't have any major 'gotcha' questions for Cruz.
