Renault could be the sponsorship of the 2028 Paraolympic games while the big three asks congress for money! Trump is definitely settling the stage with tariffs and threats. It will take at least two years to reset! Political bias has caused this which’s not business friendly! The door is open for these small companies to partner with a company like Renault to fill a niche like San Francisco/ Los Angeles/ New York City where parking is primo and mean incomes are low. Besides the Bay Area with clipper.com would the ideal low income earner with a Uber twist for tourists!

Hi Robert, I'm a huge fan of your channel and an e2o owner from India. I just wanted to drop a line thanking you for the positive review. Many other reviews that I've read so far have been incredibly biased. I don't understand what's wrong with this entitled generation that they're so in love with shortcuts. It seems that everyone wants a car that looks and handles like the Tesla without paying the price of a Tesla. The e2o isn't going to win any style awards, but it's a great town car that can help one save hundreds of pounds a year and do one's bit for the environment at the same time. I don't see how one can justify asking for more than that. Five years ago, there weren't half as many options in electric cars as there are now, but that won't stop entitled idiots from complaining. And I bet that even if someone comes out with an electric car that's stylish, fast, and affordable in the next five years, people will still find a way to complain about it.

I do hope that Mahindra are looking at this aspect.

Absolutely adorable. Kudos to Mahindra. I think if they can get it to sell below the 10,000 pounds mark then I would imagine it would be an eye turner on every street corner in London. I would drive one of these though the electric motorbike market may cut into this for a city vehicle.

Since this is an export version, they added standard EV charging ports to the car. The same car when launched in India came with a household electric port. e2o is encouraging but it's a shame that the much better looking, and ideal EV-like Tata Nano doesn't come in an Electric version. Such EVs with a little more range and slightly better looks (when compared to petrol competitors) are perfect for towns and cities, especially in Asia and Europe. I suggest to Mahindra Reva that their next EV model should be able to comfortably cover the distance between Mumbai to Pune in one charge, including climbing the ghat (mountain highway). Yes, it's a city car but it should have short inter city options. Mumbai-Pune are not very far. In fact this is the very trip that the first e2o owners in Mumbai and Pune embarked on. Increase range at the expense of tech to keep the costs down. Increase speed and safety to be able to sell in U.S. And for Lord's sake stop hiring DC (Dilip Chabaria) for designing the car. Fugly indeed! Good review! Enjoyed watching. Thank you!

The aspect ratio joke was good :-) It really looks like it got rear ended by something big and heavy... no crumple zone because it is pre-crumpled... maybe the factory dropped one on its ass and the designers thought it looked better that way... Did you ever get to drive a Think City? How do the two compare? They look to be about the same size.

What a little charmer (sorry, not you, Rob)! If we compare this to the i-MiEV and its French equivalents, this e2O is a steal compared as new cars... But there's many second hand i-MiEVs that are cheaper... (OH! Brainwave! A video on second hand guide to EVs, call up Mark Chatterly and get cracking!) Anyway! 75 miles, CHAdeMO in a workhorse package. They did very well on making this. Are there also any incentives for this car? It outperformes the likes of the i-MiEV and Smart ED, but I doubt it would get any if it's still classed as a heavy quad.

That looks like FUN! Very reasonable price too. You know, disregarding the EV part it's like the E2O fulfills the intent of the Smart car without actually being terrible.

The "Mahindra e2o Plus" actually looks good. Prolly a tad bit less inexpensive, but it's roomier in the back seats and cargo space and its a 4-door. Look it up. Also, I believe it's a bit zippier, not like the base model isn't good enough, but that's good to know.
