Oh, boy, this was so much fun! I love how you give options (low and high) so that a basic step class can fit any fitness level or step experience. I know I say this all the time, but you are such a great instructor in the way that you break down the moves for us and cue them during the workout. Thank you so much!

THE best basic step workout ever!!!! I’m new to step (and have two left feet!) and I got through the entire choreography without too many mistakes. Being able to keep up keeps you motivated and with most step workouts you get frustrated and just don’t feel like continuing. The cues were absolutely perfect and I loved the playlist. This workout was perfect for my exercise "mood" this morning! I reluctantly dragged myself to my step bench today, knowing I didn't want to think too much or have to follow a lot of sequence changes. I just wanted to GET IT OVER WITH. And this was a really fun, calorie burning, mood-boosting cardio workout! This basic step video is already in my favorites! Loved it!

I hadn't done step in 30 years but thought it would be a nice way to mix up workouts. This was enough to get my heart rate up but not hard to follow. I like the cueing as I do this with earbuds and my phone and I don't have to watch the video. Great for outside workouts. Thank you.

Instead of faster Beats per min tell participants to add a riser if they need to work harder! Faster BPM just create bad habits like bouncing which causes injuries over time. When we began step in the 80s step was much slower but instructors kept increasing speed till it was ridiculously fast by the 90s & beyond. Don’t let people pressure you to teach unsafe classes. I taught from the 80s till 2013 & I loved it. Your class is great & responsible, Thank You so much.

After doing 40 minutes of the total body workout then this step workout I’m exhausted! It’s a challenge to stay active during January and February while mostly stuck in the house. Your classes keep me focused on my goal to stay fit through winter. Thanks!

This was the perfect workout! Thank you! I had to repeat the entire video again = 2 times in a row because I wanted a 60 minute Basic Step workout, 128 bpm. All sweaty and energetic here and for sure this workout has taken out much of the excess water in my body 😁 Thanks again! I shall repeat your videos everyday as part of my workout. Great class! As much as I love fast stepping, these slower routines get my heart rate up higher. I make bigger movements with my arms & put a little bounce in my step & it doesn’t take long to start sweating buckets. Thanks for the great class!
