Trying out different geometric shapes as a theme, in this case triangles. This is a 4 layer print, with very interesting results! Artist's Loft acrylics Lukas acrylics Blickcrylics

The final print is quite stunning and I love the triangles. The 4th layer was exactly what was needed to make the print really pop. Thank you for all your videos and sharing of your process.

You are inspirational- love all of your art but this one is extra special. The viewer is drawn through what appears to be many many layers. Very clever. So good to be encouraged to produce art with the Gell plate as opposed to ending up with a myriad of pulls that I never find a use for. As always, thank you.

I love it. I always think the last layer is a window I look out of and see a landscape or sky or ocean. Your art is peaceful and has energy at the same time, and makes me happy.

Hello Fulton. This is a year year old video but it's new to me. This is a wonderful print, really lovely. Like you, I've been fascinated with geometric shapes for a very long time. For the collages, I started to cut square and circular tissue shapes, with a hole in in the middle, I like the result. I'm definitely going to try this technique very soon. This video was a joy to watch, peaceful, entertaining and instructive, all in one!

The quieter colours are good mannered and let the livelier colours come forward in interesting shapes. I think you sound a little upbeat today. Hope your health continues to improve.

Thanks Chris! Do you think my breathing is too loud? I'm thinking of changing my mic to a better one but they are expensive. What do you think?

@@artwhisperer88 Your breathing is not an issue. Save your money on new mike and buy paints. Your regular lucidly presented videos are appreciated.

had this thought tonight while watching this demo - there is two sides of the print, one is the plain Unbleached Titanium white layer of paint and then the other side shows the lines and the unbleached titanium white paint layer. So it is a type of transfer. hmmm

Love your work. L.O. V. E.! 2 questions…. 1. Your paint stays wet longer than mine. Do you add a retardant. 2 why do you sometimes pull straight away, and sometimes wait 10+ min.? Thanks.
@artwhisperer88 Жыл бұрын
When I want to pick up several layers, like Sharpie pen marks, I leave the paper longer. When the paint is thicker. I pull the paper right away. I rarely use retarder, only for light colors, especially titanium white.
