This is an old video but I'm seeing some people bring it up recently because it rags on a progressive show, so I want to addendum some stuff here. I agree with the show that gender isn't binary, people can identify both within and out of a spectrum of it. I think destigmatizing identity, sex and the like is inevitable and valuable for progress. I'm a big proponent for changing societal norms, reforming antiquated policies that govern people's bodily rights, taxing the rich, voter rights, pretty much anything cool that gets (wrongly) labelled socialism. Some people got the impression I've got conservative views because of this review, my complaints were about the way the show went about expressing these things- not the things themselves. That said, in hindsight I would have scripted this very differently if I made it today, having been more more politically active myself from 2018 onwards. I think I ended up focusing too harshly on the critiques without really clarifying the good things the show did/said, which was largely about destigmatizing these things for people who aren't educated on it.

Watching your video before reading your comment, I understood the point you were to making. It is tricky to not insult anyone when approaching a show discussing this topics, even if you aren't arguing against the validity of the topics themselves. The show felt less like a haven to discuss these import points, and provide reasonable arguments to persuade in response, but ended up being less tolerant of the perspectives of those they were trying to sway. I hope that Bill makes a new season, but with the original purpose of the show in mind - to persuade people who don't agree with, well, the way things are.

I don't know why they thought it was a good idea to film in front of a live audience. That's the real reason the pacing, bad jokes, and atmosphere all fall flat. If it was done in lots of small takes that were easier to edit smoothly, you wouldn't get this problem.

If the point of the show is to make opposing views points see why they're wrong, it doesn't do them any favors if they silence the opposition without the prescense of facts. a common cause of that is that the video isn't loaded, i'd recommend a: pausing, waiting for it to load more (a min or so should do) and then continuing. b: watching on a lower quality setting. or, if that dosent work, try checking your internet quality or running a CC cleaner, which will delete unnecessary files and speed up your computer and internet as a whole.

Actually, crystals, like quartz are highly piezoelectric. when you think about the mineral richness of certain places like Sedona, there maybe something to it. I became interested when a friend of mine spent six months in a granite house, in England. And he had some "paranormal experiences" and even his computer would go crazy. Him being a geologist, he started to notice the blocks of the house. He contends that the house was built with blocks of granite with unusual high content of quartz, and to ad even more mystery to the story, the inside part of the roof had cooper coils. The landlord told him that he had regulars coming every year to spend some weeks in the house.
