I don't want to watch somebody eat while I wait and then have them watch me eat while they wait. It's clearly a failing business plan. I've only run into a couple of restaurants that actually run it like that and most of the time people leave pissed off... Dude, different foods take different amounts of time to cook. If a restaurant had to wait for an entire table's order to be ready before serving any of it, at least half of it would be stone cold or soggy. The only time I'd consider it unacceptable to be served in a staggered fashion would be if the food we each ordered took the same amount of time to cook.

@@marcushendriksen8415 Restaurants that bother have ways to store food so that it doesn't lose it's texture/quality. I've been to restaurants with large groups, every single time all our meals would arrive at the same time (that's the norm) and never did anyone get a soggy or cold meal lol. I'm not sure why would you make up a problem that does not seem to exist, or can be easily avoidable if a restaurant bothered. The only time it would be acceptable to deliver food at different times would be if different people ordered different amount of dishes (for example one person ordered a soup and a steak and the other ordered only a burger).
