The outcome is going to be negative and destructive. If you were in that same situation, you would get a lawyer, but he is standing alone doing this for himself and learning how to. There are rules and procedures the judge has to follow, she has to maintain a certain way regardless of what t his murder says and does. If she crosses that line he's trying to put her over she could be reprimanded, she could be removed from the bench. He could get a retrial, which will take more time from the courts. More money from budgets. As well as making the victims and their families repeat such a painful process.

You call this keeping their cool????? Dude this court room is a mess... Everyone from the defendant to the judge to the prosecutor they're all trash. I think the DA is the only decent one but honestly this whole speech was wildly inappropriate as it's not the DAs job to tell the judge what her job is nor is it the DAs job to keep the defendant in line. That entire speech could have very easily been submitted to the court in writing as an official request for the judge to keep him in line, but instead she took up court time and only served to pointlessly extend the trial.

I disagree with teddy. She did indeed keep her cool. As a person who suffers anxiety attacks, I can tell you that she was right at the breaking point of one. I have been there too many times to count in my life. When you have a defendant such as this one and what he has done this whole trial, even the most level headed person can be broken. It was entirely appropriate for the DA to make the speech. Now, it is on the record, as well as why the evidence was being presented to the court. On top of that, she explained that she could introduce even more evidence, which she has declined to do for his benefit. They know he is going to appeal. With her speech, she has made it evident to all that the court and prosecutors have strived to hold a fair trial throughout.
