Spot on David. I cannot remember another time, when in a sporting contest where England/UK/GB were involved...and I was supporting the opponents. He is completely embarrassing, nothing to ever be proud of. Always slagging off the opponent...until after...then typically gives a grudging nod to them, but he always carries on about him him him. This time, even though he lost he still claims to be a 'part' of things, claims how much respect there is etc. , but now he's claiming it's a 'cheat' and Usyk only won because Ukraine are getting sympathy because of the Russian invasion!! What a piece of crap! How sick is someone to claim a victory on the back of people dying and it's just a sympathy thing. Yeah, it was sympathy that got you pummelled and knocked down. It wasn't one sided...but Fury lost. Usyk on the other hand? Full of respect and didn't ( as far as I know) mention the conflict with regards to his win...unless he dedicated it to Ukraine...and if he did, there's nothing wrong in that.

Fury was just one punch away from lights out! Just look at the point where the ref stepped in and started a standing 8 count. Fury was sitting on the ropes, hands down at his side, head up chin out with Usyk rushing in with his left hand cocked and the crosshair squarely on Tyson's chin. The ref should have let Usyk plant that left and there would have been no more discussion of what was the result.
@chrimony5 ай бұрын
It was NOT a "standing 8" count. It was a mandatory count after Tyson got knocked down and held up by the ropes. The ref arguably could have made that call earlier, but stopping Usyk from getting that last swing in while Fury was sitting on the ropes was absolutely the right call.

@@danielsonn3046 Yes, but it would be unusual to call off a fight based on a single knockdown, especially one of this magnitude, and especially considering the back and forth nature of the fight. It's usually when a fighter keeps getting knocked down and taking a beating that a ref will call it off, generally when he's nearly out on his feet but not actually falling down. In this case it was clearly a knockdown, the first Fury suffered, so he deserved the chance to resume.

@@johnbird7357 Question is if he even wants one. The first one barely happened.
@Autumnhades-fp8db5 ай бұрын
@@noone-ld7pt Fury would probably want to salvage some of his reputation in a rematch as if he wins then he could still be in the consideration for no1 in this era as I doubt his ego would let a loss go and it was a pretty close fight so a rematch could still go either way
@aldrichunfaithful35895 ай бұрын
usyk is going down as one of the greatest fighters of all time, seeing him in that ring live was unbelievable. say what you want about fury but he came in great shape and top form, and he was landing hard clean shots for 5 rounds straight with a 40 pound weight difference. usyk's chin, stamina and determination are otherworldly, and him flooring the 6 foot 9 man who survived 3 knockdowns from wilder was one of the most insane moments in boxing history
@timrthoward70075 ай бұрын
Was always going to come down to who can pull off the mid fight adjustment and Usyk shutting down Fury's momentum to that degree shows the pedigree of the undisputed
@davesmith8265 ай бұрын
It was a very simple adjustment - close distance at 11 o'clock and not 12 o'clock and evade Fury's upper cut. Once he started doing that Fury, had no more long range cards to play. He could definitely win the rematch but I hope Uysk does to him what he did to Wlad and retires. Then Fury will be offered the AJ fight and will either take it and get destroyed or duck it and be known for all eternity as the third best man in his era. 😅

@fluffcrunchmini45725 ай бұрын
Takes two fighters to make a fight, and this was an amazing fight. So full respect to Fury. He did his job. Hyped the fight up big time - which even Team Fury recognised, and then showed up looking sharp. My daughter and I (who both fight / have fought) scored it by two points to Usyk, but if it wasn't for the punch in Round 8 (45 seconds left) which I'm pretty sure broke Tysons nose (I've had one of those shots) then Round 9 would have been very different, and Furys corner. OMG.. The corner was an absolute disgrace... Good job Propa.

Great video. Thank you Propa for being a class act too! On the rematch, i agree Usyk should retire now, if for no other reason why would anyone ever want a repeat of being on the end of the tirade of absolute shite that comes out of Fury's mouth for 6 months before the fight? But like you said he's a man of honour so he might feel the need to agree to it.
@johnbird73575 ай бұрын
What did you expect him to say? "I'm Tyson Fury and Ollie Usyk is going to wipe the floor with me as I'm scared and hopeless" - That don't put arses on seats.
@madgavin75685 ай бұрын
I mean Fury would talk shite regardless whether or not Usyk takes the rematch. You can imagine Fury saying Usyk ducked the rematch if Usyk decides to retire.

Glad you mentioned TNT’s biased commentary!
@RT-hh3vl5 ай бұрын
DAZN's too - biased by their omissions of a lot of Usyk's work, but raving after single shot by Fury... totally biased
@Alfred55555 ай бұрын
@@RT-hh3vl Maybe that's because, maybe, if everyone agrees on something, they might be right. The scorecards were very very close anyway, it was hardly convincing. I'm not a big Fury fan, I prefer AJ (until he starts complaining) but I am a huge Usyk fan, I was watching him like 5 years ago when his camp mate Lomachenko was all the rage and no one knew Usyk, when Bellew fought Haye I knew Bellew would win, and when Bellew fought Usyk I knew Usyk would win, etc. But this was hardly a big win for Usyk, a rematch is very warranted. And yes, Fury looked finished in the 9th round in a scary way, but are we pretending Usky hits harder than Wilder now? Wilder flattened Fury multiple times, but Fury just got back up again and carried on. Meanwhile, even when Fury seemed to think he'd just finished his Christmas dinner, Usky was exploding on him and couldn't knock him down. The tale of the tape is the fact, not the feelings and fiction we might tell ourselves.

The Talk Sport watch along was totally biased for Usyk, Spencer Oliver and Co had Usyk 5 rounds up at the end !!
@Alfred55555 ай бұрын
@@TARZANBOYWRESTLER See, I just had another guy give it to Usyk by 5 points, and there's another in the comments here saying Usyk was up by 5 rounds. It's just emotional biased scoring. The judges were ultimately quite fair I think, maybe rewarding Usyk's inactivity, as if standing in the centre earns points, too much, but it was arguably very tight. Two judges had it by 1 point, and the 3rd thought 3 points to Usyk, which seemed like a lot.

Although you obviously pitch the very funny, tongue in cheek stuff in absolutely the right way, it’s clear you’re proper, sorry propa, knowledgeable experts in boxing, and that’s helped an utter casual be up to speed enough to enjoy that fight. Thanks for for such a good summing up of what an incredible sportsperson Usyk is
