You're really good at reviewing, I'm jealous! This is a book I've been on the fence about for a while but hearing your thoughts has me intrigued and I'll try to pick it up soon. But I definitely agree that I like when authors are able to do multiple points of view well to keep you wanting to read more when it switches POV on a cliff hanger!

I absolutely disagree with this review! I just finished reading this book and I think rielle and Eliana don't have different voices at all. Like, I think they're the same character in different fonts. The pacing was also terrible but not because of the different POVs but rather because there was ZERO downtime. It was like plot after plot after plot but the characters never had their own arcs (its not that unlikeable characters suck... I loved graceling but eliana's unlikability made zero sense... her betrayal of the rebel camp and her immediate 180 made ZERO sense!). This book was such a disappointment omg tbh. The whole Harakan thing, simon!!!, the time travel was done poorly. I just did not enjoy this book at all. I think if you gave this concept to the writer of graceling though, it'd be a masterpiece tbh because there was a good seedling there. Overall, furyborn was like 3 out 5 and then it just got worse from there.
