Any methods that I have missed out? What is your favorite? I am also curious as to how this can be created by sculpt/form workflow. If anyone can do this and post a video, I would be grateful. I don't expect any narration. This is just for the sake of learning.

You could have also created a plane along path. Then draw a circle that is the radius of the desired cut on the created plane and perform a sweep. Then fillet like the first example. Thanks so much for posting these. Your videos make me get out of my comfort zone to tackle designs with different strategies.

There´s an art to teaching and this channel has it. Every video is concise and clever. I never click off early. Brillant imho.

To all who love this channel: throw this guy a few bucks on his Patreon account (yes, I do myself). He never asks for it but he totally deserves some reward for the incredibly useful content he puts out here. These lessons are timeless workflows you can refer back to over and over again and STILL learn something new from them months later.

I was actually just about to ask him about a method to give him some money. Had no idea he has a Patreon.

@@RunTheTape I think he’s pretty humble. He doesn’t rattle the tip jar the way many others do.

I am quite uncomfortable with asking people for contributions on Patreon, especially since I don't offer goodies (in the form of exclusive content) in return. At the moment, it is just not feasible for me to produce exclusive content. I can easily imagine a scenario where I would put out half-hearted content just to appease patrons. Not to mention, time would be taken away from the main channel. In the end, both KZbin viewers and patrons would suffer. If ever I reach the point where I can do this full time, I would definitely consider putting out exclusive content on Patreon.

@@Fusion360School I think the content you put out here is so good and so useful that you are entirely justified to mention more often that you have a Patreon account. I think a certain cadre of viewers are finding your channel after outgrowing all the others and appreciate what you’re doing here. It is valuable content.

Hi Adam, thank you for the encouraging words, as always. Will definitely think of some non-intrusive way of promoting my Patreon.😀 Also, appreciate your help in promoting it!

THIS WAS AWESOME. The work flows in Fusion are so different from SolidWorks. These videos are helping me SO MUCH to transition. Thank you.
@Fusion360School3 жыл бұрын
I use SolidWorks at work. The difference can be a bit jarring at first. But then you would come to realise that most operations in SolidWorks has a duplicate or close cousin in Fusion 360. The core concepts are very similar.
