A slightly unconventional use of the rib command that can be useful in certain situations.

It constantly amazes me how easily you solve fairly complex Fusion 360 problems and how hard it is for me to make a simple cube (well, I exaggerate a little, but only a little). You should definitely have more subscriptions! What I like the most is each of your tips is as short as you can make it and you don’t think you’re director Cecil B. DeMille with a grand two minute opening title with some Sigmund Romberg music (almost always too loud). And no Star Wars scene transitions. Thanks so much.

Thank you. I do understand your frustrations. I always try to make videos that I myself would like to watch.

Fantastic! Very clever usage of the rib command. Your videos continue to be mind expanding for me.

That is quite clever! Your videos are some of the finest tutorials I've seen for Fusion 360's lesser known features. I've been using the application for over 6 years now and I still learn amazing techniques from your videos. Your voice over timing is perfect. Thank you for sharing.

That's so useful!! I've hacked my way through something similar but this method is WAY cleaner!

Thanks for another great video. I find myself looking for your channel first every time I need to figure something out in fusion. Your style of content delivery is perfect. Not too much 'fluff', straight to the point, showing us different options for the same result every time. And explaining in a way I can easily follow and understand. Thanks for taking the time to create great content!!! :) Now let me buy you a coffee! :)

You really should consider actually providing a class for this. I'd pay to be apart of this with assignments etc

I had thought about doing online classes in the past. In the end, I decided against it. It would take too much time away from content creation for the channel, which is always the main priority. Also, I can only see myself be effective at a one to one class. So the effort does not scale well at all. Another way might be to create a prerecorded structured course for online learning platforms. That would require some effort. I enjoy making "random" case studies much more than structured lessons. It might be more feasible it I can let go of my full time job. That is not happening anytime soon!

@Fusion 360 School thank you for the background. I / we completely understand, regardless I still thank you for your lessons. I will still keep my fingers crossed for the day you put together some time of lesson plan 😀

Thank you very much for this case study! In each of your videos I am testing my self for which steps I would do to reach the result.. Then stepping to watch your approach and learn new things..😊

This is definitely the way to go. Many users (myself included) fall into the trap of pure consumption. I would often find myself watching a video without even opening Fusion to try to follow along. This can often do more harm than good as it lulls you into a false sense of security. This is very much like reading self-help books without implementing the advice in your life.

I suggest your videos above all others. Now if I could remember all your innovative solutions when designing. 😁

About the Spout of a Beaker you posted 3 month ago: Today I tried it, everything is good, only the final step, filleting hard edges seems not possible. You only applied 1 mm thickness, so I guess it was not a necessary to add fillet, but if one like to make it thicker, I guess fillet would be a must in terms of making it real. But the spout is not filletable, because after adding thickness, the geomerty losses regularity, it shattered to several faces. I did make it at last by cutting off the whole top part of the beaker causing problem, but I guess that is not good practice.

What about opening a discord account ? so we can discuss the methods you have taught.

Not too long ago, I had actually opened an account and was ready to send out invites but I decided to pull the plug in the end. As it is, I am already drowning in emails and comments. I guess this is a good problem to have! 😅 I was concerned that once I open the account, I would not have the time to fully engage with the community in discord. I was also concerned that participation in discord discussions would suck time away from my main focus, which is to ultimately make useful weekly videos. Anyway, I don't have a good sense of how discord works, so my concerns might not be valid. It might be a good way for the users to interact with each other and talk about the videos but I don't see how I can actively participate in this with the limited time that I have. Anyway, keen to hear your thoughts on this.
