Hey Guys! So firstly, apologies if the voiceover and music clashed at times. It sounded fine during the edit but might have rendered differently. Secondly, I'm going to do a video about this new journey/ challenge and I will attempt to answer all your questions in that video. I just attempted to response to the comments but most of you are asking the same thing and I think a video will be more helpful. This is the music for those asking. 1) Lighthouse by Crusader 2)Never Letting Go by King Chav

Do you use the pre-mixed herbs that you linked in the description as well or do you only mix your own?
@vrai62196 жыл бұрын
FusionofCultures Why have music in the first place? This problem of the music interfering with speech is a common black hair KZbin videos problem. And so my following comments here are directed towards the black hair channels, not specifically to your channel only. It's really annoying to have to keep adjusting the sound or use captions to hear what's being said on black hair videos. Every single black hair KZbinr adds music to their videos just cos everyone else is doing it. No1 wants to be different. I've yet to find a hair KZbin channel with no music, if there is one, that has to be a very rare specimen. People might say it makes the video more interesting. But if you got great content or illuminating information, that will sell your video more than any music. When I come to hair videos, I'm not interested in listening to music but getting information & seeing results, isn't that what most people want? It is of course up to the channel owners, if they want to copy others & drown their viewers with music, that's their choice. But why do we never see anyone opt for a softer, lighter, calmer sound but instead it's always this rap, heavy r&b stuff? It's just an idea, why does everyone want to be the same?

I've been doing Ayurveda in my hair for about 11 months now and I love it. It has made my hair even thicker and it has grown so much more. As a tip, if you need a really good detangler to try using alma and fenugreek powder together with some conditioner and some oil and you won't regret it. Can't wait to see more of your videos
@tayab55756 жыл бұрын
Prissy Nerd the recipe I use 1 cup of alma and 1& 1/2 of cup fenugreek , tablespoon of oil blend , 2 tablespoons of vegetable glycerin , 2 cups of aloe vera juice and eyeball how much conditioner you need
@tayab55756 жыл бұрын
You're very welcome. If you have a steam cap or one of those hothead deep conditioning caps use it for an hour or an hour and a half and your be detangling as if you never heard of a knot in your life lol I detangled my hair( 4C) in about 35 mintues with this mix

YES HAIR!!! I saturate the roots of my protextive style box braids with fenugreek mixed with coconut and olive oil. I shampoo and do a rice water rinse as well! I henna the roots of my box braids ever 3 weeks or so and my hair is strong and healthy! I am on a protective style box braid journey for the remainder of 2018 well into 2019! I have been braided since mid march 2018 after buzzing nearly bald in mid dec 2017! I am at about 4 inches of hair that is thick from root to tip! My whole process is DIY and my hair is thanking me immensely!!!
@aquabayb43096 жыл бұрын
154angel154 hey angel- quick question.... so you do a henna treatment while your hair is in its protective state? I thought Henna changes your hair color. Have you removed your braids and seen a difference from the process! I may have to try this out. The temple of my hair is thinning so I want to try something to grow my hair back. Thanks

You lying right? Your hair is 4 inches only after all that time. Plus ypu can't box braid for that extent amount of time. You may as well be ready to cut again because when you do take them out you will have dreads lol

This treatment has helped my hair. I’ve seen less breakage, more growth and overall better manageability. Usually I don’t use an egg but I will this time. Thanks so much for your knowledge!!

Wow, the ingredient mix is interesting but henna works wonders all on its own for delivering exceptional conditioning benefits so for those who don't have all the extra ingredients on hand you should be fine with just the henna alone.

Love your video. I have been using Henna masks and henna gloss treatments for about 2.5 years now. I use a henna mask every 6 months and a henna gloss every other week. I alternate the henna gloss with clay washes. I do not wash the henna gloss treatment out but start out with a clean head (wash hair before I do a henna treatment) then cowash/rinse the henna treatment out. I do follow up with a DIY moisturizing conditioning treatment. Also I have never had a decrease in my curl pattern which remains 3b/3c and my hair still shrinks up when it dries. I love Tressame Moisture Rich Conditioner and alternate this with Aussie Moist Conditioner 😊.

thanks girl, I have been using Henna with oils for about a year now, it makes my hair dry, I deep condition once a week, use oil treatment, and I normally wear my hair in a braid out, I use a minimal heat like once or twice a year. it looks like the crown of my hair is the most dry, and I keep cutting it to get rid of the dry damaged hair which results such an even length (it is a mess). I can use a recommendation to bring my hair back to full life and give me a clarity what I may be doing wrong.thanks again

I've used the nupur henna for about a year now and really like it, especially now that I've settled on a way that works best for me. It's similar to how yoy do it! With hot tea that develops the henna quickly and smooths out lumps easily, let it sit for a few hours to develop, and then mix in a slippery cheap deep conditioner (regular condition will make it thinner than I like). I prefer not to use oil (because it coating my low porosity hair made it more difficult to rinse out). And also follow it up with a cheap slippery rinse out conditioner. I haven't experienced any loosening, my strands are pretty thick. But it definitely contributes to the glossiness of my hair now and keeps it strong when alternated with protein and moisturizing deep conditioners!
@4ckinkydiva7226 жыл бұрын
Lindsey Burnside did it cause a tint to your hair? I don't want the red tint
@linzeeb46 жыл бұрын
4CKINKYDIVA Yes. It's subtle, and if anything my dark hair is darker and glossier. But in certainly lights you can see a slight reddish tint.

What’s a cheap deep conditioner that you would suggest???
@linzeeb46 жыл бұрын
@@Watchyourprofamity for the purposes of just mixing with henna, I usually just pick up the Cantu deep conditioner. It's thick, protein free, cheap and smells good. I have also used eden bodyworks coconut deep conditioner which is good too, but I don't think it's protein free so if you're sensitive maybe don't try that one. My fave DCs that aren't just cheapies for mixing are currently Obia Naturals babassu DC (this one is protein free, she also makes a babassu restore masque that is also great, very similar but with plant protein), Product Junkie Naturals rosemary matcha DC and Product Junkie Naturals maximum moisture DC. These are on sale often for $7-9 and I love her other products too! Hth.

Hi Fusion of Culture. I have 2 question about this henna egg and other herb mixture. Does this dye your hair? My hair is black and I don't want it to turn red or black. Also, how long do you leave it in, do you have to allow it to sit several hours as the instructions for henna recommend. I have not used henna yet...but have been using Cassia Obovato instead because I did not want to dye my hair. Cassia is almost as beneficial as Henna but I've heard so many people boast about henna when it comes to strength and hair growth. I hope you get some time to respond because I really would like to try out your DIY mixture. And thanks for sharing. Sharing is Caring 😍 Velicia B
