Brilliant, your videos show what trackdays are all about. Getting out there having fun and learning to controll the cars. Too many other videos of people showing how their car is faster than XYZ 'quicker' cars around certain circuits, a refreshing watch as always keep them coming.

@@CamberandCombustion A few years ago I bought my first car - saxo vts. After a year or so of driving it i've experienced lift off oversteer for the first time, not knowing what it was. Managed to instinctively pull it out of the slide and shit myself at the same time. Had no idea such thing existed. Went home to google what could be causing a FWD car to slide like that. Wasn't it supposed to be understeerish all the time? Since then I've had alot of fun with it.

@Tim P you can just cut the other two out and label the T1R as 'crap' for a track tire. They have no business being on the front of a mr-s from my experience. Amazing tires for the street though.

Great footwork cam! Was on the same day in the little black turbo mx5 with the bronze wheels. Had a chat with one of your mates and meant to come over to say hello but then the day suddenly ended after that horrid mini crash. Hope to catch you at another day soon. Keep up the great vids guys.

Brill, I just booked Oulton for Feb 2nd too then over to Anglesey in March. A few upgrades to get sorted on the mx5 over the next few weeks! Look forward to seeing some sideways Clio/Pug footage through druids :).

'Absolute heroic nutters' - a compliment of the highest regards, thank you sir. The 306 is running EBC Bluestuff pads up front, standard Brembo discs and standard motor factor Dot 5.1 fluid. Tyres for wet driving are Michelin Pilot Sport 3s (195 50 15) and for the dry Nankang AR1s (205 50 15).

The 306 actually has passive rear wheel steering which makes it behave way more fun than most hatches :)

This 306 has had it's passive rear steering disabled in this vid due to the very expensive price of fitting the standard axle mounts which enable this passive rear steering. It's running solid mounts instead.

If you have a standard passenger seat with headrest, search for a 'Hague headrest camera mount' - they work great. Good luck in your racing!

Thanks Bryan. Neither car has an LSD. The power to weights are estimated to be similar but we need to get both cars on a dyno and weigh bridge to confirm!

Thank you 🤙🏻 This is the spec of the 306 at the time of the vid: Engine - engine, catback exhaust, K&N replacement panel filter Gearbox - standard Suspension - KW coilovers up front & Bilstein 205 Group A dampers paired with 21mm torsion bars at the rear Brakes - standard with EBC Bluestuff pads Tyres - Michelin PS3s & Nankang AR1s (depending on clip)
